I've replaced the dead chocobo with a brand new chocobo. Please do not beat this one. =(
I know there's the whole "Meet and Greet" board, but each thread is only a single introduction! I can't go through every post to learn about everyone and then I have to figure out who's not here anymore and it hurts my brain. =( I apologize if this post seems intrusive on that board's purpose, I don't intend it to be.
So this thread is a friendly thread, where people can reintroduce themselves and maybe help get some integrations between the Quetz and Midgard people. =D I'm sure the Quetz people learned a lot about us when we all posted in that board, but I think we could learn a little more about the Quetz people.
And barring the last paragraph, no discussion about the merge! We are one entity, act like it! You can specify which you were from just in case of names that are the same between servers or you want to list your former name for people to find you, but none of that "Wah, I didn't want this" or "I hate you goddamn kids being on my lawn." There are plenty of other dead chocobos out there already to beat with that.
I am Achika, Hume MNK75/PLD75/RNG75/NIN73 from Midgardsormr. I am also Paksenarrion, Elvaan WHM75. Finally, I am Madrigosa, Tarutaru RDM69 (Formerly Selan). My hobbies include punching things, shooting things, being smacked by things, not knowing how to tank on NIN, cursing at Galkas, and writing mildly humorous parodies of FFXI quests. I'm sure I can dig some of those out if anyone's interested
While I'm only mere inches from being "retired," I can still be seen in-game. If anyone was in Whitegate on Wednesday afternoon, you may have seen me declare myself your new Overlord. This is completely true. Many times, you'll see Achika and Paks (As we call her. =)) together. Madrigosa, you'll rarely see. She is technically retired, but I'll pull her out if needed. In that case, you might see Madrigosa and Paks together.
Currently, I spend a majority of my time playing that other game that's abbreviation could also be used as an exclamation. You know the one. I'm considering picking up a new job to play in FFXI at some point soon, but nothing set in stone. If anyone's interested in my info in that other game, shoot me a PM.
So what's the deal with the rest of you? =D
