Okay, so after buying CoP, getting everything going and doing the first few Promathia Missions, I'm told that you need to defeat each of the Promyvion areas to be able to access Tavnazia (thanks to Scorpio on that one). Now that I've logged after checking out the new areas I can get to, and watching some really cool cutscenes, I find that you might also have to http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=11&mid=109589033752706931&num=9 defeat the areas you can get to from the Swirling Vortexs (found in Valkrum and Qufim) as well... any truth to this? I don't really like the idea of having to throw down gil for lvl 30 equip, although it does give me an excuse to buy the Seer's stuff, much less getting alliances together willing to do it, and I'd like to be sure before I run off and try to get this stuff done.
So far, not much is out there info-wise on the subject since so few have gotten the expansion/bothered to do anything with it, so I guess just post what you've heard about or done and maybe we can peice some stuff together ^^
