Hey guys, You may or may not know that last october i applied to join a paranormal investigation team and was accepted. I have been on many cases since then, and because of our confidentiality clause...am not really allowed to talk about most of them!
I can show off files captured at these places, but i cannot give details on the location. Unless of course its a big public place like Fort Mifflin.
I just thought it would be cool to share my experience at the second most haunted site in America for those interested in this kind of thing.
I spent one entire day on location at Fort Mifflin in Philly PA as a staff member with free roam of the entire area, meaning i didnt have to stay with groups like the people that payed to get in and i got to report back live from my teams radio show which was pretty cool.
Besides the paranormal essence of the place, The history of this place was just mesmerizing, It was a beautiful location and i could stayed there an extra day if we had the time!
Im still reviewing all my evidence from this event, and so far have collected a few possible EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) and what i believe to be a shadow person on video.
I dont have any of that stuff to show yet as i will soon be editing together my own video of my findings and i will post that when i am done!
But a fellow investigator posted this video today of me inside Casemate number 11 attempting to contact the spirit of William H Howe whom was held in solitary confinement in this room, and the room was built JUST to hold him, he was also the only person who had a death sentence carried out on the premises in all of its history.
This was my first investigation using this flashlight technique and it worked unexpectedly well, especially in this area where it responded to just about every question i threw at it.I have other video of other areas where it responded well too, just not as well as this.
This video does not hold every single question and experience with this in it, But i will include those from my personal video. so check this out and feel free to discuss opinions, skeptical is welcome as well since all ghost hunting has to be done with a skeptical mind.
To elaborate on how this technique was done.
This is a standard maglight flashlight, One that you have to turn the top of it to turn on.
How this method is used is i rotate it just to the point where it turns on and slowly rotate it back down till it just turns off, So if you tap the flashlight it should come on, But when tapping it, it does not generally ever just stay on, it flickers in my tests and stays off.
Before conducting this test, We stomped around the area, yelled in high tones and bassy tones to make sure our vibrations would not set it off. In those tests, it never turned on or even flickered.
This flashlight is wedged between two bricks on the floor since the room itself has a slant to it and it was impossible for me to just stand it up somewhere, There is nothing under or above the flashlight and no one near it.
Hopefully that would clear up any questions on that.
I personally cannot claim that it is a ghost, but i can not discount the percentage of accuracy to my questions either. therefore in my book leaving it unexplained and an interesting experience. i had other experiences in this room, but more on that later.
