just got back from seeing this, I went in prepared for a bomb and left utterly surprised at how awesome it was, There were minor things i didnt like, like how the element bad guys fights were, wasnt that bad but coulda been better, cage's final lines at the end were kinda poorly acted for the determination he was supposed to be displaying.
i am amazed it didnt bomb, at least for me and my friends it rocked, even had some good laughs in it.
anyone else see it yet and have thoughts?

I'm going to go see this tomorrow, glad to hear more good news about it.

I saw it tonight. It didn't totally suck, but it wasn't particularly good either. B- from me. About on par with say, Spawn.

Just got back Chas? You weren't at the 9:30 at Levis were you by chance?

I haven't seen it yet but intend to this weekend. My hopes have been slowly dropping, I liked what I saw in the previews in the movie theaters, but the last few weeks it seems they're trying to change the movie into something else, I just don't like the look of what it's becoming. But I'm glad to hear you thought it was good.

I thought Spawn was pretty good, even if it had it's cornball moments. =P

Ghost Rider...*shudder* I went to see it with my girlfriend tonight.
I thought it was actually pretty good. Not amazing, but still pretty good. I work at the movie theater that got it tonight and, well, I hate people...still. I don't like having to clean up after 500 people in less than half an hour, lol

I'm still going to go see it, the reason being at the end of one of the commercials, they said in a very low voice "ghost ride the whip"

no jokes lol

I'm not sure how the comic book Ghost Rider talks, but I find Nicholas Cage's matter-of-fact sounding voice to be humorous for the part.

Eva Mendes... That is all.

I saw it last night and enjoyed it. Ghost Rider started off very strong with a story that was dark and serious but near the end it seemed like the writers were veering away from that and more towards a cheap action flick which didn't quite work as well. All in all, it was deffinitely one of the better comic adaptations.

btw: Resident Evil 3 trailer w0ot!!

Gonna go with a C on this one

For a movie about demons and lost souls, it wasn't very dark. Plus there were times when the Ghost Rider just looked stupid. Pretty cool scenes here and there but not enough fighting for my tastes. Not to mention some of the stuff they said was just stupid.

Still worth paying to see if you're a fan of the series.

alls i gotta say about the new RE trailer is WTF have they done, They have gone to complete shit with that movie.
HOW THE FUCK do they end up so far in the future and in vegas which is now a desert and mila is all godly in power for some reason. It looked sooo bad to me.

I liked it, some of the dialogue was corny at the end("wherever innocent blood is spilled?), but that was more of a throwback to the original comics, since they were written pretty corny too.

I wanted them to end up in a huge mansion :/
well i would guess its the future since it would take some time for vegas to be completley covered in sand like that, and she wasnt in vegas in the last movie right?
it makes 0 sense to me

Give me the power back!

No

You're gonna pay for that!

Yeah, some real eye rolling shit at the end.....

lol yeah it was a funny movie and the main bad guy seemed like some little emo kid they picked up off the street >.>

I wish they would start over fresh with the Resident Evil movies. I mean damn, to beat the original games with an A rating you have to finish in like 2 hours, thats perfect for movie. And since most of that time is just walking, that leaves plenty of area to add to the plot.

From what I hear about Resident Evil 3, it completely breaks away from the game plot. The T-Virus has broken out all over the world and it also seems as if they've given all of Wesker's powers to Alice.
