That final touchdown by the Giants even got me outta my seat, and I'm not that much of a football fan! :ph34r:
 
New England lost the game on the play where 5 people had a hold of Manning and let him get away to throw that floater to Tyree, they get the sack the game is over.

But if my home team isn't in I pull for the underdog, so it was good to see the Giants win, maybe people will cut Eli a little slack now.

That was probably the single most important play of the entire game.

I liked the part at the end where they showed the exact screen they won with, but them doing it on the practice field.
 
Great game, my hometown NJ err... NY Giants won GO BIG BLUE!!!!!

Bonus for the game, that fucking robot thats been doing nothing but warmup moves on the side of the screen for the last few years... got its ass kicked by Terminator during the game
 
One of the best Superbowls I've ever watched! Giants Defense played great and Eli made some spectacular plays in the end to earn MVP. I'm a NFC fan so woot!
 
I sure hope anyone that was a work, doesn't browse these forums until they get a chance to watch their TiVO. Epic game.
 
Someone needs to put Tom Brady on suicide watch, to lose the perfect season to a wild card team... wow...

It was one of the best SB in a long time though, great game till the end!!
 
Hell yea that was one of the best superbowls I've gotten to watch yet. I mean, down to the wire. It's painful as an Eagles fan to see NY win, but I routed for them as a vengence for 2004. They earned every bit of this win, considering their away-game record this season was unbelievable. Unfortunate for the Patriots that they were considered away at this game.
 
Eh, Brady did the best he could - they were gunning for him the entire game. If anyone deserves the blame for that loss, it was the Pat's defense (though really it just looked like their defensive coordinator just underestimated Eli).
 
hell yea lol. my boys didn't make it but i'm glad someone finally beat the patriots.

Yeah, I had to work during the game, but I'm not a football fan so I didn't mind, but it was kinda interesting to see how the underdogs won the final game. Earned it I think.

i disagree actually i think that the pat's defense actually played fairly well but it was the pat's offensive line that kept crumbling... he was rushed an unbelievable amount of times and also he was sacked quite a few. And then when he was given the opportunities he threw away 4 or 5 really easy catches.

The play that made the game was when eli broke the tackle and the guy caught it against his helmet on 3rd and god knows what... as soon as i saw that i was like, ooh this is gonna be good.
 
Oh wow that game made me a happy person. Normaly id root for the pats but since they were going un defeated and im a miami fan... i had to root for the giants. Miami still only undefeated team!

As for the game, the pats deffence was great. yes they let up 2 TD's at the end but holding them to a field goal for nearly 3.5 quarters is nothing to be ashamed of. it was the O-line that failed hard. 5 sacks and countless knock downs, including that one fumble where it was knocked out of bradys hand, are what fucked it up. Brady isnt used to being hit so much, it it showed it clearly.

Little eli topples big bad brady. Its increadibly how tallent runs in the family. Now eli has something to call his own. Grats to him for getting up on the pedistole with his dad and brother.

It's not funny becuase he disagreed. It's funny because he is a pompous ass who didn't give the giants any chance in hell at winning. He had 0 respect for the giants defense. THAT is what makes it so funny.
 
Hey, lets go for it on 4 & 11 was it? Blow the easy 3 points to lose the game. Fuck the Giants.
 
that 4-11 was on like the 35-40. I dont know how good their kicker is but that would end up being a 60 yard boot. but at the same time if they would have punted it would have been a really short punt... I would have given it a go at that point of the game.
