I really don't get that impression from him. Not as badly as some people would like it to be anyway. Granted, no one was happier than me watching him hit the dirt over and over again, but I think taking that clip for what everyone's making it out to be, is too far of a stretch.
 
Being the highest scoring team in the NFL of all time (finally passed the good MN team, that ALSO lost to the giants) and scoring on a little over 50% of possessions, i would probably laugh to.

But i'm still glad the giants won.

The ball was on the 32 yard line, making it a 49 yard field goal. Long? Yes. But within the range of any NFL field goal kicker. If any coach but Belicheck makes that call, the media would be roasting him right now.

Honestly, I'm getting a little sick of the Manning lovefest. He played alright, but MVP? Sorry, the real MVP was Tuck.
 
A lot could be said for Tyree as well. He made some pretty big plays but I think I would have sided with Tuck as well. QB almost always gets it though.
 
I think the only reason he got it is the 3rd down play where he escaped three Patriot defenders and tossed the ball 30 or so yards to sustain the eventual game winning drive.

That game was friggin' amazing and just glad the Pats didn't win. Can't stand them and just happy for Eli finally being able to lead his team to that goal. But lets be honest, most of the work was done by the Giants D and they just deserved it.
 
as a diehard patsfan i must say this one stung badly, only b/c it was 1 win away from perfection. also hurt more so b/c im not used to seeing a lose in our win columns.
i am not going to hate on the G-men, they did play a better game and the defense was magnificant. makes me wonder about the off season roster changes forthcoming by belichek. ><

I am going to say that I am glad the Giants beat the Pats. The time after the NFC/AFC Championships I was tired of hearing Pats fans boast about how they are going to breeze past the Giants. The perfect regular season record now blemished by their loss in the Super Bowl. If you will excuse me....

The Giants D made that game for New York. All the hits on Brady brought a smile to my face every single time. The other thing that brought a smile to my face was seeing Belichik storming off the field with one second to play that both teams had to play and he just continued into the locker room.

The significance of the win for Eli is great since his older brother won it last year. Now that is a family that is doubly proud.
