i logged onto POL this morning, and checked out the announcments.

As well as various tweaks to the game, SE is now going to be taking action against the Gilsellers, and i must say it's about damn time XD Just thought i would post that for those who are at work or can't log into POL until later XDD

Hmmm interesting comments from SE. The first one about making camped items easier to get is interesting. This will increase supply and hopefully bring prices back down on some goods (sniper rings hopefully). While SE comments on stoping gil buyers, it doesn't say what it is actualy going to do.
 
I don't know if increasing the drop rate of NM items will solve things... if anything it'll just increase camping and domination of NM spawns with the idea that you're more likely to get it. The price wont go down because of oversupply...just look at Ochiudo Kotes...or Sniper Rings. Almost 15 up at a time no matter what and the price never goes down, just Archers are near impossible to find.

I think they just need to take action against obvious telltale gilseller signs... because really anyone who plays this game can spot one a mile away by now. Doesn't take half a brain.
 
Holy f***... you don't suppose this announcement is the cause of there being 45 frickin Sniper rings for sale, do you? <_<

HAHAHAHA! Oh boy, they knew this was comming. The mass inflation was so riddiculous which made so many people to quit the game. I guess soon the AH will be back to where it belong.

I am all for alternative way of obtaining new items, tradeskill components and such. Although I bet best way is BCNM. Everyone has the chance of getting. Only your laziness will block your way :P
 
lol, now this is entertaining hehe, are the sniper's really back down to 250k?
 
Snipers when I last checked (10 minutes ago) were 370k and falling. I managed to pick them up(thank you much Narell) after a long time of waiting.

The gil sellers are going away, the AH prices are dropping to reasonable prices again, this could be the beginning of a Golden Age in Vana'Diel.

I think Square Enix representitive are trying to get rid of excess gil floating in Vanadiel by selling sniper rings [Zcdm (sp?) as a seller]
Well that is my assumption because this guy is not buying any archer's ring to synth them into sniper ring's. He sold 8/10 in the price history.
