Snipers when I last checked (10 minutes ago) were 370k and falling. I managed to pick them up(thank you much Narell) after a long time of waiting.

The gil sellers are going away, the AH prices are dropping to reasonable prices again, this could be the beginning of a Golden Age in Vana'Diel.

BLARGH!!!!!!!!!! :: rips out his hair and runs around screaming ahhhhh wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hahhhhhhhhwaaaaaaaaah whyyyyyyy I wana play now :'( I needs to gets a credit card!!!!!!!!

Don't feel too bad, they were back up to 480k 45 minutes ago. But thats still a lot better than they were.

I got 3 to get rid of. I'll sell cheaper than AH, contact me in game if you want 'em :P

hmm...well i jus checked:
ochiudo kote = 700K
sniper = 500K (but i can see 1-2 buys at 300K on todays date)
archer = 500K (was 600K earlier though)

Rumor has it the GMs are flooding the market with Sniper rings to bring prices to a more reasonable level. Feel bad for the ass that paid a million 2 weeks ago but he probaly bought his gil so w/e sucks to be him.

They could just make the mobs a little easier or the EQ drop have that Yellow circle so people can sell it in bazaar or trade it but like the damn mannequin pieces and drops, you can't put on the AH..... that would discourage a lot of gil sellers as it's not very quick to move... I think it took the bears 2 months to sell a pair of those mannequin pieces.

hmm funny they only changed this, once they lost a few customers to wow?

aye, i found that rather oddly coincidental as well. but we all knew SE would not take action until it effected their bottom line enough.

Retired! No WoW just good ol' EQ2.

Good to see they got this under control...sorta. Only time will tell from this point but I give SE a D- for effort at this point.

Good Luck,

Mo...

I noticed in the official announcement, they make reference to adjusting the selling fee based on AH price for said item. The more I think about it, the more I like it. So, will it work like this ?:

If a Sniper's ring is going for 700k, and say they charge 10% to sell it, will this deter someone from trying to sell it so high?

I would hope so, This may be a good way to keep prices down in the long run, I mean, who the hell wants to pay that much to put something up that may not sell?

Hope these new rules implemented help us all ^^ I for one am looking forward to this update, it seems like SE is finally at least attempting to satisfy its customers ................. about damn time!

But I have to agree with Mo, D- for the big SE >.< It took them too damn long.
