Gillbuyer!!! according to Espio

Ok this is getting unjust and rude to me.

Anyone who knows me knows Im pretty much broke all the time. I have been lucky enough to make wonderfull friends who loan gear to me if I need it. Well, here Ill just tell the story.........

So Saturday evening I get into a party with my ninja in the crawlers nest. Not that any of the players were bad just couldnt get that party click if you know what I mean. I as ninja am having some issues holding hate off out sam (Damnit CAMI!! You are too uber!!) and we have someone dc, enter the drk Espio. Well the rest of the party I'm getting comments from Espio, "Voke before it gets to camp" "Hold Hate" and other shit, now come on I am by far not a noob so I feel like saying, NO SHIT! Anyway, I am not a confrontational person so finally I just drop the party. Move back to Jueno, flag back up etc etc. Get new invite, go to garlaige citadel, guess whos here!! Espio again >< Ok fine maybe it was a misunderstanding no biggie lets just get some Exp and rock on. Party goes very smooth for a while even though our wonderfull drk is following the puller out and melee'ing the mob. Can anyone else see the problem with this?

1. Hard to establish hate as ninja when melee is attacking it before I can voke.
2. one word, HOLES!!
3. Mob wont come to camp when it has prey standing next to it.

Ok made my point, so to move on, I say several times politely "Espio you need to stay at camp please dont follow the puller" And get no response. Well we run into a teeney issue, cant remember precisely what happened but once again Espio is meleeing the mob over the holes and everyone is telling him to pull back but he doesnt. He tells me to do my job! Ive had it at this point, and have finally snapped so I say " No I think Id rather let you die while you melee it over the holes dumbass". And of course all hell breaks loose. Espio's comment

The insult of Gilbuyer is being used way to loose in this game, its a lynching that happens every day. "ooooo I dont like you Im going to tell everyone your a gillbuyer allright!"

BTW - You may want to invest in a THF as a NIN tank. A DRK can pull hate from the best of PLD, so a NIN has no chance. A THF will help moderate the hate from uber DD that love going buck-wild.

calling someone a gillbuyer is kind of a weird insult. I don't through it around loosly. however, i did call this nOOb blm in my party the other day that has ruined my enjoyment on ninja for 2 days in a row. he had all +1 equip (i'm talking the lvl 54ring that are what 3mil each now?) said he had been playing 2 months, nuked non stop, didn't know where to go and was ooooing and awwwwing all over my shit saying he wishes he was rich :/
and ever single time he wanted to burst FREEZE!! with a ninja tank? way to go slick.

Pfft. MPmg ratio doesn't make your e-peen any bigger. If I were ever to take BLM to those levels, I'd stick with spamming AM just to get the bigger number. If, you know, an elvaan BLM's MP pool could afford a single AM.

Please tell me your joking about that cause if you arent you're asking for your death if you do that in an EXP party. AMs do a lot of dmg until you learn the Tier II AOES and III single target and spells. Well actually they still do a lot of dmg at my lvl if timed right but the hate you get, at 51-60 when you are only learning AMs is not worth it to spam. Before this gets thrown at me: Yes the tank's Cover is a good help but it's not gonna always save you.

Save those spams for Manaburns ^^.

Yes, I was joking. It's melee dumbassery - sometimes you 'accidentally' miss the skillchain, twice in a row, just so you hit 300% and can mega-buff your mad WS on some poor sap. Which usually ends up with a full miss or a high resist, doing less damage than throwing a pebble at the same mob.

If your going to half ass a job and rely 100% on other members to do your job then don't fucking lvl it. I only need one round of the wheel to have efficient hate, sometimes i don't even finish it.

I wasn't insulting him playing thf, its a fun job i'm lvl 62 with it lvling in sudden burst. I just laugh that you say a ninja HAS to have a thief to hold hate when its just not true. Just a typical stereo type like every party has to have a rdm/brd to get good xp/hr *cough chain 5 consistantly no brd/rdm cough*

I argue when people only see things one sided. Id rather pull and build enough hate for a thief to SATA VB someone else and the damn thing still not turn THANK YOU!


Also, freeze isn't bad but when your trying to fast chain the blm wont stand a chance at keeping mp i learned that leason lvling blm. slower parties can handle a fast pace can't.

according to gene's post it seems like her nin's still at the 35ish lvl coz she was in the upper lvl of GC. And even you have Ni, it's still hard to hold hate single handedly without the help of the elemental wheel coz all the other debuffs are 4s cast time. and at those lvl thf is really the best friend of ninja.

after 45 ninja should be fine by themselves but before 40 it's really hard as hell for them to hold hate alone.

of coz pulling urself and try to establish hate earlier works, but in GC(holes + bad linking possibility) and CN (need 2 pullers to get good xp) i'd rather have puller do it for me. Gustav definately can work tho.

There is not many reasons not to have a thf in party with a nin tank.
The thf makes it cheaper for the nin to hold hate.
Thf pulls, often misses the ranged attack - very little hate - easier
for nin to get controll over the fight.
(The 1st voker har often nin subbed and can take the hits with no
dmg taken, and that ws + voke is nothing compared to the thf's ws
+ mb + the nin's voke. I even staticed with a mnk as 1st voker and
there was almost never any problems with hate.)
The ws's a thf has is the last one in a sc, wich gives nice MB
possibilitys, plus great hate on nin...

Really, people lvling ninja and are dissing thf's are either too rich,
has a nice cannonpty going on, or are a bit retarded.

Most jobs rely on other jobs, that's why we party.
