Give us guns – and troops can go, says Iraqi leader

How does a gun stop a suicide bomber? People don't die instantly from bullets.

BOOM HEADSHOT! Or BOOM RIGHT IN YOUR FACKIN HEARTSHOT!

Rambo sucked give me Arnold Schwarzenager as Hercules in New York anyday. Just remember G dub thinks strategery is a word and the secretary of state wants the surge of troops into Iraq called an augmentation. Will it work? No. Would blowing up Iraq killing all the "innocents" work? Yes but it would place the US into a whole shitload of trouble. But in my mind no Iraqi is innocent if a majority strap a bomb to their car just to kill themselves, other Iraqis, and soliders just because of religious views. To think Iraq is suppose to be the holy land because of it's fertil ground between the Tigris and Euphrates. Irony much?

Bolded set me back a sec.

The thought that the UN can go fuck itself when we decided to go to war and now has some bearing on how we handle it as far as the consequences of our actions is laughable. Certainly legitimate but the thought in hindsight just makes me smirk.

Before:
'Fuck them, let's roll.'

After:
'Be careful what you do the world's watching.'

You'dve figured even the biggest damn fool would've seen how boned we were by getting involved at all. But apparently forsight isn't in the job description anymore.

Hurray for cyclical history.

At this point in time I don't think it would matter what the U.S. does. So we could literally fuck over a country.

To Bigboy: You said bullets to instantly do I gave two things where you would be dead on the spot. Hell even a shot to the spine would do the trick. The head if shot in the right spot like the part that controls involuntary movement would be instant death.

Even the best military in the world isn't full off crack shots that can move from hip to targeting an instant kill in less than a second, which is the only way you'd stop it. You certainly aren't obtaining that accuracy with automatic weapons either. I understand what you're saying, but it doesn't matter because real life doesn't play out like video games.

Well look how it worked out last time you did it.

However, tbh, I really think they have you over a barrel. "We will withdraw when the Iraqi people have the means to look after and police themselves". "OK, give us guns and we'll be able to do that, then you can go". "Errmmm......".

isnt that what we did when we appointed saddam to lead iraq and gave them guns or am I thinking of something else similar in the middle east some time ago?

if im right then lolirony

We didn't appoint Saddam as leader. He rose to power after the CIA's assistance in the coup of the previous king. It's partly our fault that he became the leader but we didn't just put him in his position. Also, us giving him weapons has no relevence to the current situation of the topic as far as I'm aware.

If you know something I don't about this, please link me some resources.

I see I was just clarifying if I was right then I said lolirony because when we thought Iraq(back in the day) was "calmed down" and Saddam rose to power we gave them weapons, now Saddam is gone and the country else wants weapons.

It made me wonder will the next be corrupt, and if it will ever see a peaceful era

It just made me think about it a bit, but no there isnt something I know more than you do, I hate to say it but recently I'm becoming more politically aware and I dont know my current history hence me asking for clarification.

My brother came up with the most hilarious idea for the car bombing problem. Simple solution: take away all civilian vehicles. That way when someone's riding by on their tricycle you'll have to see the dynamite stick dragging along behind the guy. The only way you couldn't stop him in time is if you're laughing your ass off too hard and can't take the shot.

But it was more of a joke... don't take it seriously.

That wins on so many levels LAWL.

but what if if they say its their lunch box or they can carry them in the same spot and hide plastic explosives in the food

lol(more of a joke than criticism)

Silly Khidir, that can't possibly happen. They can't afford lunch so they'll look suspicious carrying an expensive red lunch pale around.

Well it's a good job the majority don't do that then isn't it. A lot of the insurgents aren't even Iraqi's anyway.

I love you, Sharpe. You just added a point to my "Faith in the Human Race-o-Meter"

If we used his logic, then all Americans are dumb pieces of shit because the majority voted for George Bush. It's just fucking retarded to think shit like that.
