na it said 98k imperial gold pieces but there was also a list of items like 3 saphires and all kinds of other crap

if u have to turn those in.. still a long... long and expensive list
 
If it is 98k coins, it better change stats for each job you use.

They added a flag like the 3 nation flags, maybe thats the reward...lol, I so hope.

Even I couldn't bring myself to get the mage ring, and I'm a mage at heart.
I wonder what the deal was, the rewards were rather lackluster this time around. Then again, only the final form of the final boss presented any real challenge...
 
People need to drop the 98k Imp Gold pieces ideas lol.

That would be over 1.5 BILLION gil at current market prices. Or over 1 BILLION exp points for IS. No way in hell.

I'd probably go for the ranger ring.
Too bad every group I go with seems to stop just short of the Alexander fight after my spectacular failure on update night.

The damn fight took me like 6 hours to get done, we had to try so many times... it had nothing to do with player error, just every time we'd go to engage one of the enemies, someone disconnected. Every time. For 6 hours. wtf :/
 
I doubt the 98,000 gold pieces is a serious thing :P

Besides, I look rather nice in my glory crown :D
 
Seeing as you can't hold 98,000 gold pieces in your inventory - much less a trade window - at once, *if* she accepted them all, she'd have to be able to accept them incrementally.

And she doesn't react at all to 1 gold piece.

I call red herring. Really, it's just a plot excuse to see to it that you're still a mercenary even after the plot's done, because there's still mercenary stuff to do with Assaults and whatnot.
 
Since I can't log in cause I'm in Wisconsin can someone tell me what the crown says/looks like? Is it like Opo crown with shitty writing or something interesting?

i wish there werent so many spoliers available so quickly i was so gung ho to finish this expansion, but now i see the rewards and.... meh.
