Yeah, you get it at the very end of all the missions.
They were talking about "unlocking" it so that it has stats.
Have any of you actually tried trading a gold coin to Naja?
Because, you know, it owuld be easy to see if its upgradable that way... If she accepts it, then there's most likely something to it. If not, then you can't upgrade it.
Tested.Seeing as you can't hold 98,000 gold pieces in your inventory - much less a trade window - at once, *if* she accepted them all, she'd have to be able to accept them incrementally.
And she doesn't react at all to 1 gold piece.
I call red herring. Really, it's just a plot excuse to see to it that you're still a mercenary even after the plot's done, because there's still mercenary stuff to do with Assaults and whatnot.
Ok again think about this logically...
Yes, 98,000 Gold coins seems like a lot. But it's not.
10,000 Moat carp at a cap of 200/day. That's time.
15 jobs to 66. That's time.
18,000 Dynamis coins, 1 Weapon fragment, 1 Attestation, that's a lot of time, and effort.
It really wouldn't suprize me if it was for real. It's basically a relic Crown.
It's one of those things that SE banks on us being more communal that anything, this si somethign a lot of people focus on and get for one person, much like dynamis. Who says only one person's going to work on this thing? They would need a little help.
However, you'd need 990 Inventory slots to turn those in, so I assume, if she accepts a couple coins at a time, it's an actual quest, otherwise, if she requires you turn in all 990 stacks at once, lolphatchance...
Naturally you have already beaten the ToAU storyline if you have the Glory Crown, which is the crown they were talking about...unless the trade is triggered by beating the toau storyline.
