thank god for pc....i read about half of it while using the windower for ffxi, and i toggled over to the game to see if there were any pt invites and it was like heaven shining down on me with the great game grafics on pc

Player: if a person where to pull a monster, lets say a redmage like myself

GM: if you are sleeping the mob and you get reported for that, we will certainly try to figure out the circumstances and act

Player: i can understand if its a NM being slept for 4 hours to move time zones but not just to get MP thats unfa

GM: GMS are not meant to be characters in game. We exist because we are customer service representitives.

GM: We exist when we are needed.

GM: Otherwise, weare not meant to walk around and look pretty for the players.

GM: No. GMs can not alter events in the game in anyway.

Player: they have done every thing that was said in the reasons why the other people where banned

GM: if we have police on the streets, why do we still have criminals? We are continuously persuing the issue of gil sellers

Player: I see 10 zooes currently on and i know a fact 4 of them are matroplizing a nm spawn

GM: and it does seem, at leat fro right now, that even though we ban some, some will fall through the cracks and/or new

GM: ones will register to "play"
GM: This is certainly an on-going issue.

Player: oh i understand but leaste get them off the 'streets' for a short amount of time

Player: i myself have quit this game 3 times now and deleated my highest level character ONLY because of this what

Player: i call 'the ffxi great depressions'

GM: I think it is somewhat unfair that instead of "thank you", the reaction we got more was "You missed this person" or

GM: why didn't you ban ALL of them."

I read the whole thing and I have to say it does put things in a bit more perspective (We can blame SE more than GM's for any problems, hahaha!)

I managed to read the whole thing(although difficult at time =P) and it was actually quite interesting. That particular GM also seemed very reasonable and patient(and less anal) than other GM's whose conversations I have read.

GM: The 800 we have banned som far were found, beyond any doubt, to be in consistant violation of our

GM: Also, I suspect there would be a whole lot less gil sellers if players wouldn't buy from them.

Player: its ussally the lower level players :/ that cannot make gil

GM: Yes, several of those accoutns had some relation to gil selling in one way or another, as far as I know.

GM: Low level, high level, no matter. Is is just as much against the rules to buy it as it is to sell it.

GM: If there was no demand, there would be no supply. As long as there is a demand, GMs will have their hands full. That is

Player: botting

Player: has anything or will anything be done to botters of NM camps etc?

Player: a rather big NM thats botted almost daily is the Peacock charm NM >< thats out of control

GM: Again, GMs consitantly get no credit or recognition for this. We take action against many botters every single day.

GM: However, just because you remove one person doesn;t mean someone else can come along the next day with his new bot

GM: program and start botting himself

Player: maybe... take note of certin NMs

GM: Again, I make reference to my earlier analogy: If there are cops on the street, why do we still have crime?

GM: There will always be players that seek to cheat in this game.

GM: If you remove one cheater, that is obviously no guarantee that another will come along eventually.

Player: have Nms drop more? lol >< ((just trying to help))

GM: We can only deal with cheaters when they are reported.

GM: And we certainly deal with every report appropriately.

Player: more drops = cost less gil = lower all around gil

GM: I want players to understand that we deal with tons of issues every day.

GM: Results to any one problem may not necessarily be instant.

GM: We truly care about our players and the quality of this game.

GM: But I'm sure you can imagine how busy GMs get in any given day.

Player: players like myself dont honestly know what gms do because you guys are um... abnormaly secretive

GM: We are "secretive" because, again, we are not meant to be characters in the game.

GM: We interact with players when we are needed...when we are called. You needed to speak to me, and as you can see, I am

Player: the nannys reason for most family break downs are the in-ability to talk and interact

Player: weather it be the father always works

Player: and the children have no father figure or a small one

Player: so, take that and apply it to this game

Player: children are kids, you are the father, (i know i keep revisiting this issue)

Player: you need to be open like how are u are with me right now

Player: you guys need to make it like beta again there is a post on the internet right now with over 10 pages of

Player: responces about this, infact im looking at it now

GM: It is SQUARE ENIX's policy that GM have the role that they have in this game. If you would like to suggest
