Since this is where they seem to end up, I wonder if we could have a thread just for GM conversations. I just read Dowzer's a few threads down, and it was a nice insight. It seems the GM's on our server really don't listen.

So, if people want to post their GM conversations, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to see them. It's diverting to read about the time these people take to insult and laugh at their prisoners. It kind of adds to the authentic feel of a medieval fantasy realm's prison, no?

HAHAHA OK I got a good one!
(Im on PS2 so bear with me about no fraps n shit :( )
I recently called a GM over the fact that lucifar may be packet sniffing... again.
(this is the response i get 2 hours after the incedent, there was 18 calls before mine)

GM>> Greetings Deacen, I hear you are having some technical difficulties, sorry for the wait, what seems to be the problem?
>>Me: Yes, Im concerned that there may be some biased activities brought on by the developers of SE, i was actually wondering if i could speak to one personally?
GM>> Well because there is so many calls... blahblah same thing they always say.

That covers a good amount of GM conversations.
 
While for the most parts GMs seem to be useless...give them proof and they are effective. Pandetech was suspended for 24 hours today by a GM...although from what he said about it he may have insulted the GM when he was being given a warning...

But i think someone posted this already...would you prefer they delete the character of every person who happens to get lucky on an NM or who has good gear and is accused of buying gil?

That is the only real alternative short of stating in the ToS that they are allowed to search your computer at will.

Anyway...gl with that NM lol.

Right, point of clarification: I'm not bashing GM methodology per se; I just honestly do enjoy reading these conversations, and I like the idea of sort of making an archive of them.
 
I know you were not but alot of people seem to feel that way and i saw it headed in that general direction...

I would post my conversationi with the GM but it was pretty dull, he asked if i was complaining about what was said a few mins ago, i said yes then i asked him what usually happens in these cases. We said goodbye then pande got suspended...pretty standard really.

I would post the GMs name but i forgot it :x.

Anyway sorry if it felt like i was targetting my post at you.

There was this one time, (oh...I won't say it this time but later!) I asked the GM why there wasn't darker colored humes, he just zoned me -.-
