Ppl were spamming with the intent to annoy the CC and it was clear that was their intent, re-read the jonason jail thread.
 
Anyone ever heard of GM Jcblue? Warned him today to watch avgirl who was speedhacking around the gobbue spawn points trying to get claim vs the 4-5 random ppl there including me who were farming them while lvling npcs'. Completely ignored any remark I made that included her being RMT, and wouldnt go watch calmitkeboss and everblacks' crew in feiyin. (they were camping CC of course)
 
Whatever happened to the good old days when a GM call on shouts/says/etc was greeting with a curt "fuck off set your filters or cry more noob" ?

The only real problem with all of this was the /random. you can't filter that. I had set /say and /shout filters then the screen was just flooded with /random /random /random /random /random by about 60 different people just doing it over and over and over again. I caught several names fly by more than others with this. But seriously folks I don't mind what you say while camping an nm... but stuff none of us can filter needs to be kept in check.

I do apologize for my /random spam.... But the only reason everyone started spaming the /randoms was becasue some one offerd 30 mil to who ever rolled a 0... I know it was proably a joke but... I was willing to try.

Forgive my /randoms for i was possesed by the off chance of winning 30 mil :P

Other than that all the conversations other than Randoms where legitamit conversations between people.

He said stop the spam. I have seen the real screenshots with the /random mixed in and it definately warranted a gm call. Random is commonly used to lag out people fighting an HNM or to make the claim harder. The original poster kind of altered the truth and what really went on here just to make a post about GMs. When 50+ people all random at the same time and continue to do so it gets pretty aggravating.
Looks to me like the GM was just doing his job.

Yeah okay 14 pages of random. But we still all stopped by ourselves WITHOUT the GM and long before he arrived. I will admit I was spamming the /random out there. But hey thats what happens when 30 mil is offered to anyone who gets a 1...or was it 0?

Still the GM avoided my questions as to WHY we needed to stop. He did not say "Some one complained" or even talk about spam. He said us talking in /say was causing a disturbance in the game. When I asked how he didn't respond and told me to basically shut up in a nice way. Still he never did mention the /random as far as I have heard, even when talking in /tell(maybe he went through the chat logs and saw someone offered 30 mil and thus realized the /random was at fault for the /say chat and thus wanted to stem it off there though, besides that I don't know).

Dispite being yelled at by the GM I would have to say that was one of the more fun nights I have had. Also I am sure plenty of people enjoyed camping that NM more then others they had previously due to how friendly everyone was. Hell the fact we didn't get the claim didn't even piss me off that night since i enjoyed it so much....
 
Ok, so how about we get a little more clarification on how many people were spamming /random? Was it 5-6 or 50-60? Either someone has problems counting or they're just a douchebag. I think the latter.

And you can filter out /random. It's called /blist. Not very hard. Which brings me back to my point of 5-6 or 50-60?

And even then, /random? OMG! Numbers in my chat log! Ahhh! Cuz it's gonna mess up my hack that tells me when the pop is coming! Ahhhh!

Grow up you whiny bitches.
