GMs now steal from you! :O

I think that issue can be worked out at a small claims court.
Technically you were not at fault. You did not know. And the way that GM went about things was unfair and unjusticely.
In a court of law, the case would've been settled with you getting your item back and the guilty party taking the hit, not the innocent. Honestly...aim to get that GM fired!! Petition it if you must.

I read another post regarding court, he had a point.
Sad to say that GM's behavior was policing people around in an unjust way. I bet its a power trip for him. Hopefully justice will be served. I wouldn't be surprised if they fire him.

Best solution...lol...lets have an FFXI court with lawyers and stuff, lol.
But if things truly get out of hand...small claims court it.
"Judge Mills Lanes" :-)

Other forums are calling shennanigans on these pictures. That the player never mentions the item's name is highly suspicious. The whole conversation seems to be hiding key pieces of the topic that you'd expect player and GM to discuss.

If it even happened at ALL, it's just a typical soccer mom to-be trying to gain support from the online "**** the po-lice" mob. They most likely knew exactly what they did with their partner if this is even real.

That's exactly what I was thinking..."why didn't the victim even mention the item?" It's definately fishy....

I would definitely check with another GM...in fact I'm tempted myself to contact one in game and just ask. It's really fishy and kinda makes me wonder how far they can track everything.

If it's a fake, then shame on the people who are trying to continue to make people hate the GMs.

Exactly. I wonder why anyone would try to make us hate the GM's in the first place...

You guys are as gullible as i was with Shel and the whole Strider Boots fiasco if you actually believe those screen shots are real...

Heh..true. Who is to say that it isn't a created user-name?
People do it on AOL all the time.

times like these that I think the world should legalize murder on some people by normal citizens >.>

Only time I've spoken to a GM the chat-color was the same as my /tells. Is it possible for GMs to speak to you in /say as well?

I think GMs use /say when a player's in jail... not sure, though...
