Alright so after 6 months of trying to get a wedding planed for my friend, i decide to contact GMs about it.(the form told me to call them if i can't get a date) anyway, i finally call them tonight and they tell me to look in the Q and A. So i did, and i read every god damn topic and there was nothing about weddings. so 2 hours later i go back and call a GM and heres what i submited "I was told to read the Q and A about Wedding Info and there was nothing there" so after 30 min of waiting for a GM to answer I get "I do Not Know about Weddings, Please Read Q and A for more info" this is the point where i was pissed. I said "Is there anyone who might know about weddings" "Yes, The Wedding GM" "Could you call the Wedding GM for me" "He is not in right now, But if you need to email him on this matter please use the compendiom" FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!. So i go back to reading the wedding info there and find nothing AGAIN, so i call again and say "I was told to contact the wedding GM but i don't know how" So after MORE waiting i talk to one and get "So i understand you have some problems" and right now i'm am being nice even tho a vain is about to pop in my head. so i reply with "yes i've sent in 6 wedding forms and read everything in the Q and A and can't find anything on the Wedding GM. Another GM told me to contact the Wedding GM regarding Weddings but he isn't online and i don't know how to email him"....... so what does this son of a bitch do he left the chat room. I sat in my Chair just trying to no shout FUCK!!!!!. then i said fuck it and went back to ff.

Well they know eachother in RL

Prolly not, but this is just a game and doesn't mean jack shit anyway.

Thats why I asked if they are getting married IRL.

NO they are not. well not to my knowledge but i know little as it is.

yeah the GMs didn't know anything about fishing either. I just wanted to know why when I drained the life of the fish it still 1) said that I don't have enough skill to reel it in. But if you drain the life then obviously you do. 2) or the line snapped and I lost another rouge rig. Those things are fucking expensive to lose to a fish that you killed. lol the GM told me to check forums on it. Like I'm going to listen to someone that posts on a forum over someone who works for the damn company that made the game, but it looks like that is the quality of GMs in this game.

GMs dont make games. GM's are the equivalent of your local cable company's telephone tech support and sometimes worse.

I had a taru that got perma jailed or something. He was just a lvl 1 job I ran around with and tried to kill stuff in the dunes when i was drunk.

Myrrh, in the POL viewer, before your log in, one of those opions leads to a marrage section, where I think there is a form. Not sure though, and I'm at work so I can't check.

getting married in game is a waste of time anyways.. pay all that money to get rings with names on them.. your character is no different afterwards.. no real in game benefits.. i know i did it.

Yes spend a whole, what 80k? Rather than the crafters who jacked prices to the sky nearign 1mil per piece of Opaline? Some people like the dress, let alone the wedding thing :p

Sounds like a typical SE thing to do, have you run around in so many circles you get bored/angry/tired/w.e. Getting useful information is pretty much damn near impossibale.

The cost of a wedding really isn't all that expensive. And yeah, take a look at all the mithra and hume you see in full opaline, they've spent a few mil just to "look pretty". Now that in my opinion, it stupid because I don't see myself running around in the wedding dress, I see myself in party, or helping others and therefore needing my actual equipment. (I guess if I was crafting I could wear the wedding dress)

Anyways, everyone has their opinions about in game marriages, and for some its a little something two people can do in the game to show that they have feelings for each other. Is that so wrong? If you can say that it doesn't benefit anyone, then I doubt that you can understand simple acts of affection and love in a relationship.

Also keep in mind that some people who play this game are RL couples, and to be able to play the game with the person they're already married to, or in a relationship and then have an "ingame" marriage using their 3d character is something enjoyable which can be meaningful. Its fun and something to do with your partner.

Anyways Myrrrh, I know how you feel. I've applied already 3 times for a marriage to my RL bf Xean, and have yet to have the date accepted. I really don't see everyone getting married every single day of the year so I'd like to know their reasons for declining as well. And this "wedding GM" is news to me, i'd definitely like to get a hold of the person.. <_<

Go camp the crawler in Temple of Uggalepih, you'll understand why Opaline is expensive after that.

Never said it was easy, but it went from 400k to 1.5m in 2 days. NOTHING can cause that aside stupid people. :p

I asked GMs about a person named Iiketsu ("Nice Ass") and GMs won't do anything, yet they forced Flameass to change his name. That makes so not-sense, that the gravity of it's not-sense making must've collapsed on itself so it seemed perfectly reasonable to GMs. Meh..
