Never said it was easy, but it went from 400k to 1.5m in 2 days. NOTHING can cause that aside stupid people. :p

Are you talking about Opaline or the synthesis materials?

I brought 10 stacks of cabbage with me and the fucker never spawned, no chance at getting any materials.

actally alot of thing could cause this for one dowzer right "IF" you can get the ??? before other do then the cance of this guy spawning is like 1/30. Luckly it drop atleast 1 twin coon every time, but I think you need 2 in order make thread. time is money as fun is to farming. There are just way to many farmer, way to many rmt, and just way to many people. What all this mean crafter want the thread and farms want as much cash as they can get so they can buy somthing nice for them self which is most likely also way over price. supply and demand it a 2 way street.:rtfm:

I mean honestly do you expect other wise when you go farm silk or tree cutting or what ever else you wanting the most you can get out it, so with pro come cons because you put silk high then every thing that use silk go up. Why do they put silk hi so they can by a harby which is up hi because people are doing same thing with ore so they can buy nobles.

This is just another example of how your average GM knows jack-shit about the game. Despite the company's constant insistance that all GMs are or were players I know otherwise and can prove it. Longdukdong (Duckie) applied to SE about becoming a GM and she was told GMs are "customer service agents" and NOT experts on the damn game....they know less than a newbie with under 10 hours playtime. So-called "Senior GMs" are the ones who are supposed to know the game and they are never around because the company considers it more important to stall and heap BS on us then deal with game-related issues.....increasing their profit margin through mass-sign-ups apparently mean more than keeping the people who've spent hundreds of hours in the damn game. Square has let us all down too goddamn many times to deserve anything more than contempt. Call a GM?....Why not call your mommy....at least she will pretend to understand.

This reply was brought to you by SquarePenis who've gotten on my wick too damn many times to deserve better....WANKERS!

Thank you.

9/10 GMs are indians reading question and answer manuals. Yay for outsourcing!

I asked GMs about a person named Iiketsu ("Nice Ass") and GMs won't do anything, yet they forced Flameass to change his name. That makes so not-sense, that the gravity of it's not-sense making must've collapsed on itself so it seemed perfectly reasonable to GMs. Meh..

I still see Asshie running around.

I arranged an in-game marriage for a couple of friends in mine. A few things to bear in mind:

1) They are a real-life couple, that have been dating for well over five years. We've all known each other outside of FFXI long before we ever knew each other inside of it. They got engaged last Summer. There's a very legimate, non-creepy-loser reason to want to seek this service.

2) It wasn't very difficult to do at all. Have you been checking your Playonline e-mail, Myrrh? That's where everything is sent, from your initial confirmation of the application, to any and every further correspondeonce.

3) I believe it took close to two months for me to receive word of whether or not the application was accepted, and what date we had won. You've got to be patient, but it was nowhere near six months. The only thing I can think of is that the whole process could have been delayed with each additional application ... You didn't just keep sending another one every month, did you? You've got to get turned down, first. o_O

4) I had one problem in which I didn't get any sort of notification e-mail after the "lottery date" had passed for the days I had picked. All I had to do was send an e-mail to the exact address I had received the initial application confirmation e-mail from, and I received a reply within 24 hours. This reply was from a real person, who had read my message...not an automated system. This gets you in direct contact with a wedding GM, I think.

My best advice is to correspend by e-mail, to the people that have already corresponded with you. Don't use the phone, and certainly don't try a petition. The in-game GMs, as has already been stated, are going to know absolutely nothing about this issue. In Everquest, GMs were lovers of and experienced players of the game. In FFXI, I think that they're just customer service employees with a minimal training course.

Long and short of it, send an e-mail, to the address that contacted you initially. Use your Playonline mail for this. Good luck.

Winklewil's experience is close to mine. I did a search on the web to find an email address and corresponded with someone to get help on getting things done. I thought it had enough advice to share, so I put it in "guides"

if anyone wants to know about it.

Thanks for all the help guys but my point still stands. GMs SUCK!!! instead of worrying about Mpk and nerfing other jobs they need to hire someone who knows their nose from their ass.

Yes spend a whole, what 80k? Rather than the crafters who jacked prices to the sky nearign 1mil per piece of Opaline? Some people like the dress, let alone the wedding thing :p
funny thing about online weddings and just buying things in general, buying your GF a opaline dress is sweet right girls like that right? does any one stop to think who wore that dress before you? I mean ewww try buying a girl a used wedding dress in real life and see what happens

but yeah seems the GMs dont do much of anything any more since you cant call them for MPKing anymore

It seems as though some families have no problems passing wedding dresses through the generations. Or is that whole "this was the dress my grandmother wore" thing a romantic myth?
