Hey just wondering if anyone knows what drops the items for Gobbiebag VI. I have not seen any of them but the HQ Eft skin on AH or dropped...

Items are....Shakudo Ingot, Square of balloon cloth, Iolite, H.Q. Eft skin.

I'm assuming alot of the items are in CoP areas, i have all the promyvions done thats all right now though..

Any ideas would be appreciated. :wink:
 
Actually, like all gobbie bags, I'm sure these items are crafted, you'll have to wait till the crafters get their hands on some of the materials...
 
Shakudo Ingot
This variety of blood-red copper is found in the Far East.

Dropped from Mobs:
Goblin Junkman (Newton Movalpolos)
Required for the Gobbiebag VI quest.

Balloon Cloth
This sturdy variety of cotton cloth was once used in Bastok when building hot-air balloons.

Dropped from Mobs:
Diremite Dominator (Pso'Xja)
Required for the Gobbiebag VI quest.


Iolite
A blue jewel.

Dropped from Mobs:
Cave Antlion (Attohwa Chasm)
Required for the Gobbiebag VI quest.


High Quality Eft Skin
This eft skin is in perfect condition.
Dropped from Mobs:
Eft (Bibiki Bay)
Tartarus Eft (Bibiki Bay)
Required for the Gobbiebag VI
 
The Shakudo Ingot is on Jueno AH but there is no price history so who knows.

The Iolite is also on AH and sells for around 200k. :shock:
 
ok .. so .. dammit

only item i could find to farm up for the quest was the HQ Eft skin, my 59 galka mnk did pretty well in bibiki found me some shiny magic slacks and a curaga earring....

Pso'Xja? found the mob .. Dear god i hate that place: Died with exploration crew from the link

Newton Movalpolos? Found the junkman thanks to some sneak and invis ... i'm scared outa my mind of going in there anymore..

Attohwah Chasm? great place to get lost .. couldn't find a Cave Antlion anywhere. Found this questish-lookin kinda spot with a mimeo stone that wanted to be put on the top of that giant rock in there :shock: any idears?

Anywho .. Gobbie bag VI = High lvl and wealthy only for quite some time... go SE, stop the gilsellers! stop the monopolies!! Add MORE shit no one else can get ahold of without being some giant dood or having a ton of cash :/

Gobbiebag VI

Something like 300-350k gil atm. Balloon cloth jumped from 14k to 100k this week. shakudo ingot dropped from 140k to 110, iolites up to 130, and eft skin around 14k. Someday this should go down, but dont bet on it.
 
As of this morning, the Shakudo Ingot is 100-110k, Balloon Cloth about 80k, Iolite about 120-130k, and I've been seeing H.Q. Eft Skins for like 2k.

What I think a lot of people don't realize is that Shakudo Ingots also drop off Fomor Ninjas in Phomiuna Aqueducts and Misareaux Coast. While the ones in the Aqueducts aren't soloable (thanks to the level 40 cap), the ones out in Misareaux are EP-DC to me at 54. :)
 
O_o thats news to me

are you 100% sure the fomor ninja outside of phomiuna/sacrarium drop the ingots? >_> if so, i just found me a shiny new farming spot to help drop the price a lil XD

I got an ignot from a ninja in teh sacrarium. It actually dropped 2 ignots.
 
Iolites aren't from cave antlions... they are from the Corse type mobs in Attowa Chasm. I know.. cause I've hunted them with Xanty a lot for money^^ These bastards charm your ass... it sucks... not to mention all the undead around that'll aggro low HP and the scorpions... really only BST can solo these with ease. They also have almost every BLM spell.
 
Just got it. Gobbiebag V ran me about 25k, Gobbiebag VI ran me about 225k without having to pay for the ingot (got it from a Fomor Ninja).

It is nice seeing 19/60 on my inventory slots though.

19/60??? Jesus how I would love to do that, half the time im sending gearsets off to mules, to storage npc, or my storage.. and on top of that im still sometimes 55+/60 and i have to delivery box myself some of my own gear
