So is it still just fame to activate these or something else?

As long as you have GB6 and the new expansion you can get GB7-8.

Yay finally another increase. Did they also increase MH / Locker storage capacities? How expensive is it to get the new gobbie bag quests done?

Hmm I have Gobbiebag VI and the expansion, but Buffnix doesn't offer it. He just asked me about the Maws.

Talk to him again? He talked to me about the maws first too, had to talk to him a second time.

There's a few pricy items in the new gobbie bags (Adaman Ingot most notably, which *became* extra pricy because of these quests - it'll probably slooooowly drop back down over time). They also include Angelstone and Deathstone, but both of those can be quested in past Sandy in WotG (once only each, but that's enough for your gobbie bags). Nothing that an inventory-bloated 75 can't manage, but there are definitely cheaper options for improving your storage capacity.

Current limits for storage are:

70 inventory
80 mog safe
80 furniture storage (home town only, but that's not a big problem if you're sensible and keep HP there)
80 mog locker

Wait... ML can be 80 now too? I am really fucking behind the times ;;

You should also note that creating furniture storage requires the consumption of Mog Safe space. The best option (if you can afford it and it does not effect any moghancements you may want/need) is to fill up with various furniture with large storage capacities like the 9-Drawer Dresser (I think that was the name). That particular piece has 7 spaces and eats only 1 MH space. A bad idea would be to fill up on small furniture items which give 1 space meaning you're just trading off one safe spot for 1 storage. There is a cheap furniture item in Rabao I believe which is roughly 200 gil and 2 storage spaces, a cheap way to essentially add 40 spaces to your mule although, I never really bothered to try.

I went back to him and he says something about my bag, but never offers the damn quest :/

70 Inventory
68 Mog Safe
80 Mog Locker
80 Storage max
298 total.

That is the logical cap on storage atm.

Not bad really
