God of War 3 Preview

Yeah I keep hearing GoW 2 was absolutely amazing. Guess the only way to know is to play it myself.

Saw the review on Gamespot, the game looks pretty effin sweet ^^
 
I downloaded the E3 demo from the PSN about a week ago, had a lot of fun playing it. I'm a little disappointed that the titans don't have a bigger role in the game (as stated in the video found in the first link in Elemmire's post) but oh well, I'm sure the game will still kick ass.
 
Titans dont have a big role in the game? Aren't they some of the stages itself? <_< Thats a pretty big role.

I think it just might be a case of people expecting the whole game to revolve around titans. That'd be ridiculous, we still want some of the same platforming as previous games.

The thing was the titans were going to be changing stages and there were going to be a lot or something, there's only 2 and they don't really "change" as advertised. Or maybe people just assumed too much. I dunno, I don't remember what the hype claimed. Anyone remember/have linky?
 
Honestly I just think they intentionally made the adds misleading. It's either that or they decided to take a different direction with the game *after* releasing said advertisements. I've now beaten the game and as a whole it was awesome, the first part of the game, pretty much right when you start is awesome and possibly my favorite. They really did create some beautiful environments in the game, it's a shame the camera couldn't be changed manually. My only gripe about the game is the end seemed a little anti-climatic to me, but I'll let you guys decide for yourselves.
 
I haven't even started playing it yet. I still need to play through and beat GoW 2. >_>; Will be working on that this weekend.
 
Got my ULTIMATE TRILOGY EDITION Last Night from Game =D I am so enjoying God of War III right now.

Edit: Oh before I forget, A six issue mini series of God of War Comics made by WildStorm is coming. Issue #1 on sale in April =)

How is the box that came with it, what is it made of? I was going to buy it but at the $200 price point, I wasn't going to risk Styrofoam.
 
The box is made of pretty strong plastic, painted with a good finish, and lined with Velvet. Inside it there was the Game(s, EU version has all three games in it), the art book, dlc card (The Blood and Metal EP is a DL) and art cards. The US one probably isn't worth $200, but the EU one is definitely worth it.

Best delayed Birthday present EVER!

Also, finished the game just a few moments ago. Holy crap!
