Tyrath said:I thought GP was perma banned? :|
Sharpe said:Hmm what's that I smell? Oh that's it, IRONY!
Sirelrohir said:here's what i think is going on. you know your buddy got caught being a huge hypocrite.
When asked about it, instead of calling him out like you would anyone else, you decide to turn the discussion. So, just how big a hypocrite does that make you?
Your here making the same baseless accusations you always do, yet your friend, after everything he has claimed (never believed it myself) doesnt provoke your ire one iota? yeah...
Lavi said:He was perma-banned, but he now has control of Moraine's character since he quit the game and has no need for it. I don't know the details of why, but it's not entirely pertinent to the discussion.
HAHA!
Skaw said:Again, where have I ever said me and Jamal are friends. Oh wait, never. Infact, in threads not about cheaters, the way I respond to him gives off the feel that I don't like the guy. Simply put, I can tolerate him, but we're far from "buddies."
If you want to call someone out on being a hypocrite, try not being one yourself.
I already posted why I don't give a shit, Mr.Posting-In-Vengeance.
Sirelrohir said:In this case, I asked you a very simple question. You couldnt answer it.
Skaw said:Want my honest opinion? Atleast Godpoing had the balls to admit he cheated. Thats loads more than some people can say. Regardless, my opinion doesn't matter. After that Salvage thread, it's obvious people are going to pick up admitted cheaters and help them progress anyway.
Skaw said:What makes you say I'm Jamal's friend? Have I ever posted anything on this message board saying so? So we both hate cheaters. That makes us hate cheaters. Having things in common doesn't immediately make people friends.
Sirelrohir said:ah something editted in that i didnt see. You seemed in an uproar about the salvage thread. I'm just curious to know why you dont feel that way now.
Skaw said:I did. Quit being a god damn retard.
P.S. Saying people are avoiding questions when you yourself did is the very definition of forum faggotry.
Sirelrohir said:orly? well, PM me with any questions you feel i avoided.
Well, the same can be said about Godpoing.Skaw said:Because it's obvious people are just going to take known cheaters and help them along in life? I mean, look at the Salvage thread. It's pretty clear people knew Grayswander had hacked, but he was allowed to go.

But let me clear up some mis-information and lay down some facts for all the people who like to come to assumptions just for the purely bias reason of making themselves look holier-then-thou. This will be my one and only post in this thread, if you wish to have a further response from me then look me up in game.
Jamal did not allow Godpoing to join after he was caught Fleehacking. Godpoing was and already had been a member since mid-2006, someone who had a excellent record of being a helpful and kind human being. He never claimed a single NM for us or was ever seen using this flee hack by any other LS member.
Godpoing was suspended twice, once for vulgar language towards RMT and the second time for fleehacking. He was then banned for fleehacking as the third strike. He should of seen it coming, and should of quit flee tooling aftr the first warning but he made the wrong decision. Furthermore he never touched claim botting or pos hacking. I'm not going to argue which type of hacking is worse then the other as it's all degrading to the game but I think we all have a mental picture of which hacks give the largest advantages to not only the hacker but the hacker's LS, and fleehacking is not on the top of that list.
To the people who think getting Moraines account was not a step back for Godpoing and not a "punishment" enough, I think you guys are sorely mistaken. Aside from EBody which Godpoing doesn't even care about (he is re-leveling THF because WAR is not his passion in this game) Moraine had already dropped or given away every single thing on the account that wasn't R/E and there is practically nothing the account has that GP didn't have on his original account. GP lost about 10x more then he gained from this banning and that's not even CLOSE to an exaggeration, especially if you count the Mandau progress.
Jamal is not the bad guy in this situation. If he was acting on his own accord and gut-instincts then Godpoing would not be in the shell immediately after taking control of Moraines account. The situation was brought to LS meeting and a private vote (/propose) was taken to determine his fate. Jamal could of overruled the vote in which the result was a strong case to keep our friend, but Jamal is not a dictator, he wants the best for his LS when it comes to the social aspects of the shell and doesn't want to dissapoint anyone. He also doesn't get angry when we don't claim or run underground forums promoting the use of hacks to further Element's progress.
A double standard was definitely crossed in this situation when it comes to Element's policy on cheaters, however as human beings we decided that if Godpoing could swear to us that he would never touch a cheat again and he was truly sorry for the mistakes he has made then we could forgive him. Element has kicked people in the past and will continue to kick people who are caught cheating in the future, regardless of who you are or how tame the cheat, this situation was a lesson to everyone and this type of mercy will not be shown in the future.
