Hi everyone!

Ok i'm gonna step on my ego a little and make myself look like an end-game noob, but at least i'll get the answers i want (or i hope i do).

I'm up to lvl 68 on my main job, started Dynamis this week-end, which was fantastic with DynamisAteam. So like every normal player i'm starting to think about end-game content. I know a big part of that, besides of Dynamis, is Gods. The thing is i haven't been able to find what exactly you get for spending nights farming for items, and spending a whole few hours fighting one mob. I've been proposed to join a god LS when i reach 70 (which is a matter of days), so my goal with that post is to get some info as of what i would get myself into if i accepted, and what would i be able to get out of it as a BLM.

Anyways, if anyone has some reliable info on that, PLEASE do take a few minutes to answer!

Each god drops items worth millions of gil, as well as rare/ex items(abjurations and equipment). Farming the items necessary to pop the gods is a time-consuming and sometimes boring process. In order to encourage participation in farming the items, most of the linkshells have some means of rewarding those who help the LS out. If no one wanted to farm the items, then there wouldn't be any gods to fight, so helping to farm the items is always a good thing.

As a blm, you'll probably be shooting for some Zenith gear. I've heard that the only good piece for blm's is the hands though, but you can certainly get the rest of the set if you want.

Yeah, but genbu's shield is only for soloing, and I'd think that a blm would use spells more than melee anyways.

yes, but i was just only mentioning what a BLM can "wear" and get from Gods.

The only piece of equipment you -need- from Gods to be a well outfitted BLM, is the Zenith Mitts, which are acquired by using an Aquarian Abjuration: Hands and a Cursed Mitts, bring them to the guy in the cathedral in Northern San D'oria.. That's the only piece that really serves BLM well.. for Taru at least. For Other races you may want some more MP so the Zenith Crown is not bad.
