Why in the name of GOD is it so fecking hard to get a simple item like a Gold Lobster!?!

I need either 1 Gold Lobster or a Seafood Stew to pass my level 90 cooking test and after 4 full days and nights of checking every bazaar and all the Auction Houses in every city/town I can't find any...not even a single. I've shouted and generally run all over the fecking server with the only result being me getting tired of seeing the crags...over and over again. Doesn't anyone fish anymore or has everyone stopped doing anything productive to level their fecking Blue Mages!?!

It says the Cooking and Fishing Guilds in Windy sell them but apparently SE has decided to screw over the cooks by removing them....Despite all the damn problems I've ever had in the game...this is the one that's making me want to bomb SE's offices....ARGHHHHH!!!!
 
i was sure a NPC sold them some where idk which one i will check up later if you want me to paddy
 
Thanks for the offer Blazn but I've actually been to the listed NPCs and they no longer carry them as of one of the more recent up-dates.

And btw....I'd use a neutron device to save the surrounding buildings Blazn so no worries =)
 
lol ok :P well why not aska fishermen to fish you one up there are a few on QCDN
 
hmm, well - you could ask a fisherman. They generally catch well.. fish.

I think I know a fisherman that can help. You should probably send him a tell.

Now, to only figure out who would be the fisherman.

I can't begin to describe how much I need that lobster(s). once I do the test I'll be able to make the Coeurl Subs and Tavnazian Salads I've been hording ingredients for. Thanks alot =)
 
I have several stacks of Gold lobster's on my fishing mule. I save em for guild points when it comes up. Instead of making a flame, you could have made a post in the Crafter's forum and asked if any fisherman could hook you up. If you still need one I'm more than happy to send it.
 
I made posts under Crafter's Corner and Auction House but nobody replied and I took a shot that people were more likely to read a post on Ye Olde FlameBoard hehe. I appreciate your offer as well Rambaldi.

But thanks again to BigBoy for sending those Lobsters I'm not weighted down with ingredients anymore and I can actually get some XP again.
 
Took me a while to find a gold lobster myself for the test. I basically went to every shop that could have sold it... basically got one at the guild in Windurst after a couple of game days later. Next time, I'm going to the Red Lobster!
