Yes. If you chose to wait on a gift, or receive a gift from, say, a Sandy Moogle, the Bastok or Windy one will only tell you your stats. Not sure if you are able to receive the gift from them after the wait.

Klank waited 1 day, silver belt. I waited 2 days, chocobo ticket. =/ I really wanted a belt...

hmm a bit exagerrated but yeah :) lol like 55 hp on my monk.. not bad.. could def use this to hit 2k hp.
 
Well, in all honesty, is the rewards even worth it? <.<; The only reward I really see as useless is the chocobo rod, and only if you're in to chocobo digging XD

If it had "Enhances Chocobo Speed" I'd be all over it, but riding duration... <.<;
 
I chose to wait 1 day before I talked to him again. Then he gave me a homing ring. Not the most useful thing, but I can see where it will come in handy. I think tonight I will head to Windy and see about getting my prize from a moogle there.
 
Waited on monday, didn't check yesterday, but got a silver belt today.

Doesn't that thing squeak when you hit something with it? I'm want that thing more than a naked Starbucks barista on my desk.

Well... not that much. But it'd be nice to have.
 
I chose wait, came back 3 days later (didn't know talking and saying to wait again mattered) got a return ring.

Maybe good idea to get a homing and return ring before talking to moogle, so your more likly to get something elce.
