If that shits legit, that will be amazing. That and perfect dark would be BA. Hope you can do local lans as well as play online and that they have all original SP content. That would be beast.

EGM announced that it had been canceled. While I hope they're wrong, they're usually not.

Yeah I heard about that 3-4 days ago but they said it was canceled at the last moment. Now if canceled only means postponed, we will see.

If it were to be released, hopefully they'd do away with the annoying as fuck "Hold down this button to aim" shit that doesn't belong in the world of dual analog.

HAD to necro this thread... enjoy. TADA!!!!!!

That's cool and I will pick this up but I don't know how Microsoft can call it a "world exclusive"... lol. It's not like the N64 game never happened. Microsoft is really stretching to call shit exclusives... stuff that's from earlier generations, stuff that's on PC, stuff that goes on other consoles 6 months later after their short exclusivity payout runs out...

Well come on fire... You know what they mean. EVERY company involved in gaming atm is screaming exclusive anytime they announce anything. And it is pretty exclusive actually... Ever see that HD background in the 64 version? Not :p But seriously lets not get upset with MS for boasting about another win win situation for us. Also Vigilante 8 is coming to XBL... I loved that game.

The HD version of Goldeneye will be exclusive to the 360!

I <3 Goldeneye. I just hope they don't screw anything up. Though I do kinda find it slightly amusing that they claim it's exclusive :P the only real 360 exclusive game that'll stay only 360 and worth getting is Lost Odyssey. Gawd that game is so good.

Yes, yes it is! You've tried it on a friends I take it?

Are we really getting our knickers in a twist, because MS said exclusive on a replica of a game from a completely different generation by a completely different company? We all should obviously know that they mean, and if you don't i'll have a few choice words for you.

Also, lol at still saying it looks like an N64 game. That's just being ignorant, dog.

Also, even though its coming out for the DS eventually (doesn't even have a release date that i know of, buts its on the marketplace now) is N+. Try that game and try not to kill yourself.

Yeah they added some new backgrounds but those textures everywhere else look exactly like the N64 game. Sure they have a higher resolution, doesn't mean the textures themself are high res. It's like putting a DVD into an upscaler and then calling it high def. No, you need the actual detail not just an increased resolution.

On top of all this, if the game doesn't have significant improvements it won't be playable. If it's not dual stick for example, not playable. Gameplay wise, it needs to be tightened up a lot t meet today's standards.

Even then, it would still not be an exclusive. And no Osyris, Sony and Nintendo are not screaming "exclusive!" on everything they announce. It's Microsoft doing that, and stamping their boxes with "only on Xbox 360." To me whatever they say on that matter is meaningless though, they just love to beat their chest. The funny thing is that even first party Sony and Nintendo games aren't stamped "exclusives" even though they never end up on other platforms. I dunno, it just makes MS look really childish and petty, especially in cases like this where it's clearly not exclusive at all.

Have you ever seen a commercial for a PS3 or a Wii game? They all say (if its the case with the game) "only on PS3" or "Exclusively on Wii", hell, as i'm typing this there is a commercial for the new destroy all humans, and right at the end, guess what it says? Not saying its right for MS to do it, but to say sony and nintendo don't do it is just silly. I personally want it to go back to the days when they just showed the commercial for the game, and at the end it just showed a little logo for the system that it was coming out for.

The control scheme is all anyone should be interested in. "Hold button aiming" hasn't had a place since analog sticks came around.

The game play hardly needs to be tightened up to meet today's standards. The game play is what *set* today's standards. Just because you don't feel its playable doesn't mean it won't be. Its pretty impossible for it to be worse than the N64 version, and even then i'd still buy it just so i'd have one more reason not to have to hook up my 64 to play it (although i'd still have to for PD and SSB)

Also, HD still hardly matters. There is a reason that SD is called standard definition, is because its still standard.

Where are you seeing exclusive on this anyway, much less "world exclusive"?

Funny thing is, you gave them your money too. If you hate MS so much, why buy the system?

For games I want to play? Not for the "only on Xbox 360" stamp on the box. The fact is, going in if they didn't try to trick people by claiming timed exclusives are actual exclusives and slapping down nondisclosure agreements with the devs to hide it, I'd be less bitter than now. I'd just say, "I'm buying this game cause it's out and I want to play it." Not get lied so I'd do what I would have anyway. I'm not a cattle and don't want to be treated as such, having my decision making manipulated by pretty blatant lies.

Just curious as to what games this has happened with.
