I have goldsmithing 60, i would like to know how much i should spend to level it at 90/100 @ this time. I know it's expencive so i don't wanna start if i don't have atleast 90% of money. Anyone know approximately how much do i need?

Thanks in advice. Goo

One million per level if you buy stuff off AH, or lost less if you farm like me, but took me 3 years to get 88.

All recipes at that level use a gold ingot ( 15k), thats why.

I recently went through these lvls. 91.4 atm. Its not horribly bad. I think I have spent roughly 700kish a lvl. My 90-91 was well over a mill do to a bad streak. Then I turned around and got .4 on 11 gold ingots.

I budgeted what mdk said, 1 mill a lvl.

Too god damn much. When you finally get to the "profit" areas, you'll find that they're not profit when you break 7 flame rings in a row. >:(

Yeah just getting through the 60's and 70's is pricey alot of gold ingots and plat ingots. The profit areas just mean that you can make gil IF you dont break but if you DO break you would have to have 5 successful synths to recoop the loss. This is the reason you dont see many high lvl Goldsmithers

There are tons of Goldsmiths lol they just don't want to be known about.

I can't really blame them. I get a lot of "Hey, can you help me craft this?" 45 minutes later, they stroll in to the guild with the wrong mats, or missing crystals, or something, then tip me 5k.

The only good commissions I get are from friends these days. :/

For small things, i don't even bother with the whole tip thing too annoying. If you have me making something big then I'll ask for a tip.
