I am looking for a program that will look up the CD I have an automatically get the names on when they are ripped. Also want the program to just automatically rip it to an MP3. <_<; I was doing it through Windows Media Player and I had cDex to convert but apparently it doesn't convert WMAs. >.o Suggestions?

I'm pretty sure iTunes does exactly that.

Nero is pretty badass. I haven't burnt a CD in a few years, but I often rip MP3's off my CD's through WMP so I can't recall the specifics on Nero and if it'll automatically find data for you on the album, I'm pretty sure it does though. It's at least worth checkin' up on because anything Nero is a damn good program from past experiences.

CDex will do that on its own, just have to point it to a CDDB and tell it to check it when you insert a disc.

Set Win Media player to do mp3 and not wma if you want mp3 format.

Yea, right in options under 'rip music'.

I've had issues getting Windows Media Player to find the tracks titles and ablum names like Miros asked.

I'm curious to know if there's a program (other than iTunes) that can do this.

I use the Creative software that came with my MP3 player, it works really well; finds the artist/track title, allows you to choose the bit rate, etc.

QFT. I rip my CDs to mp3 using WMP and it puts in the tag information automatically.

jesus, i haven't used cdex in ages.

As I do 90% of my CD-ripping on my laptop, I use Brasero (GNOME/*nix).

For the Windows side,though, I can't beat Roxio :D
