I'm just wondering if S-E will ever go a full week w/o adding some meintenance that seemingly has no results =/. This is starting to get on my nerves, the least the could do is Explain what the do during the meintenance, b/c I really never notice a change ._.

Im down for tryin to fix any problems on the servers and what have u. but really its like 1-2 times a week this is goning on and yet I still get my R dropin down to like 0 in non crowed areas like bibiki bay and what have u I think S-E is dropin the ball on there first MMORPG wish they would just fix the problem and lets us play, but then again someone will always find a away to hack the game and or servers and then the headache will start all over again.

Yeah, only 3 hours. Too bad for me that those 3 hours also happen to be during my scheduled static time, which means I most likely won't hit 70 today. And that will mean a whole week sitting @1500 to 70, when instead I could be using that week getting beat down by the old man over and over til he finally gets tired of whooping me.
I wouldn't be so irritated if there had been some forewarning about this. But there was no message about maintenance when I logged in yesterday. If there had been, we would have rescheduled. Blah. I'm starting to wonder if I'll reach my goal of hitting 75 before Christmas. :?

As an aside, from August 1 to today, FFXI has been down for a total of less than 30 hours. That's 97%+ uptime.

What I don't get, is last night AH was down, search was down, inbox was down....now everything's working great. I goto search, a list loads in a good second, name comments load the second I click them, nothing seems to be wrong..and NOW they're doing maitenance? :roll:

As long as it fixes the login problems, random mass-DC's, hourly search, constant AH and sea problems, hourly zoning problems, and mega-lag at random times, I'm all for a maintaince.
