The gil that goes into the AH doesn't go anywhere but straight to SE? How about the delivery box of the person you bought the item from? What an idiot.
 
When I ran a UO server is was pretty easy to handle that gold issue.

/add.gold.propertyvalue=(X=amount of gold).target=(Name of Character)

You can add all the gold you want that way. If they were selling, they could add it in and do it that way.

Prolly gonna get some bashing for this but here it goes. I dont think i completely disagree with what he/she's saying. Now hear me out on this and if u respond to this keep the flame to a minimum please ^^. Now lets say a guy works 52 hours a week and he only has lets say 2 hours to play every day. If he earned his money thru hard work irl to be able to enjoy the game and actually do something productive instead of farming for 2 hours every day, wouldnt' it be his right to go ahead and "buy" himself some gil so he can enjoy the finer things in the game other then just farming? I completely disagree to buy gil because you want this item when u have all the time in the world to farm your own gil like myself (being out of a freaking job for months and all). damnit i lost .2 cents for posting this >< someone owe me .2 cents ><

Have to aggree. Another effect that comes with the buying gil stigma is also the jealousy thats created, where you worked your ass off for something and they did nothing (well, technically they still worked their ass off but in real life so really it's a different sense)

Yeah, I don't ever remember a single person ever admitting to buying gil openly within the linkshell, I mean seriously, our members weren't shy about mentioning their less than honorable activites, yet gil buying never admitted by anyone.

I think she only mentioned it to add weight to arguement, weather or not it was true, if she was a member of any other shell she'd use them too for it. Not cool trying to drag names down with you to protect your friend crys =(
