Good morning, Bastok.

Aye, I agree Skaw.

And as luck would have it... After I posted my reply and logged into POL,
look what I recieved:

Talk about Ironic, huh?

Wooooo!!

(everyone) (Area) (mine) !

They actually tried this last week too, but failed. I was logged in as conquest tallied last Sunday (September 18th), and immediately after the ratings were announced, I checked Gustaberg.

Windurst had "Major" control, but the area was still under Bastokan control. Anyone know why that would be? The best I can figure is that whoever was trading the low level gear in, didn't tip the scale over to "Major" control until after conquest results started being tallied. This is also assuming that nothing effects conquest results once they begin tallying current control points, which really only makes sense.

The best part about these threads (regardless of what nation loses it's newb zone) is that there are excuses being made and people trying to dig up something to stoke their egos.

Who gives a KFC bucket filled to the brim with <dia>rrhea?

"Oh yeah, we'll get you"
"Even though we lost it, we're in first"
"I remember that time when we Pwnt hardcore"
"But our city is better"
"Being in last rocks because our signet lasts longer"
"Yeah, sure. Big whoop. Now you teleport to our newb zone"

STFU.

But yeah, I'll go get the OP too.

I don't know how many people actually participated to conquer Gustaberg but I'm glad we finally have it. I'll admit that I did NOTHING to take this zone so I won't crack on Bastok. (They sent all their armies abroad and didn't protect the homefront :) )

Just a question, did anyone do anything signficant to help this conquer?

Lol this outpost warp is the useless one of them all even I don't use it lmfao and I'm Bastokan. It takes about the same time as it takes somebody in windy ah( woods) to get to their mog house. Long tiiimee lol enjoy it because it sucks lol it really does.

Whatever! Useless?!? Everytime I need a break I just OP warp to North Gustaberg. Not many people know it but there is a neat little B&B right next to the waterfall. Now all of Quetz can enjoy this vacation paradise. That area gets dogged quite a bit, but this might actually be a good thing for the Bastokan economy with all the Windurstians rollin through. While on their way to Bastok they can take a warm steam bath in the Fumaroles or take a chance at spotting our most famous beast resident, Leaping Lizzy! :D If anyone needs any more Gustaberg sight seeing tips be sure to get a hold of me.

Take care...

Olllllllllllld Bastok tore up conquest. 1st place for months straight. A few months after NA PC release, it got rocky... then NA PS2 release hit, and things just went sour. My reasoning for this has been not the quality of Bastokan players, but rather the lack of. People either autodump into San d'Oria since it's the first on the list and is automatically selected, or Windurst because they think "Hur hur hur Mithra!" while touching themselves.

And Yes, Tu'Lia and Movalpolos have border flags, but no outposts. On the other hand though, Movalpolos also has a regional merchant by the border flag.

However, 1st Place isn't always a good thing. The dormant days of Bastok were the best, because our best CP gear(Presidential Hairpin, Republican Gold Medal) always worked when you needed it to. To say Bastok sucks while our best gear works is just being shortsighted.

Ahh the good ole days before the flood of the PS2ers that all seemed to go to sandy or windurst. Bastok has definetly been m aking an upwards trend lately, its funny hearing the shit like Lastok and the like when we are doing better then they are.

Congratulations........But Basty was first =P
