Good Riddance, MJ

Unlike the last 2 posts, I see exactly what you are saying and I very much agree with you.

Remember everyone, this is the thread to hate on MJ, you people with your tongue in his ass need to get back to the other thread. The two threads were split for a reason. This is the thread for shitting on MJ. We aren't crapping up your thread, so get out of ours.

Actually nobody is thread-crapping. Disagreements will happen and are allowed to happen. People that don't agree with you are welcome to post in any thread they please. Feel free to spam reports of instances that actually break a rule. The 2 reports you made for thread-crapping were found to be mere disagreements. That's perfectly ok, and you should know as well as anyone on this site when you personally disagree frequently that you take the stance that you are merely disagreeing and not threadcrapping. For that reason, I'm surprised (maybe not) that you made a couple reports of threadcrappers in this case which seems so clearly to be a couple cases of disagreements.

Must be hot in here. Chill.

Besides, telling someone to keep their opinion to theirself on an open forum is way ruder than making fun of a pedophile.

I think accusing someone of being a pedophile who has never been proven as one, is way ruder than anything that you can do on this forum. You and all that are saying good riddance to MJ need a reality check. Even if he was a pedophile which he wasn't, you all are throwing stones at someone who is no longer with us.

Posting pictures like this on a post Morten person is just as dirty as previously stated as well.

This a joke?

Every time Michael went into the public he had a freak show of fans following him. Even though he was still in debt, he still made millions a year.

His final tour was sold out in every venue.

This.^

There are tons of fake fans though and I think that does make me sick. If your going to hate him in his life, don't praise him in his death. One big example of this is Perez Hilton. He would always talk shit about him and even said that he was faking his accident so he wouldn't have to do his shows. Then when he finds out he is dead he ninja edits the same post to say that the king of pop is dead and how sad he is. The guy who had the documentary about how messed up MJ was did the same thing after he was dead.

You mean like over half the people who spoke at his public funeral? Ranging from not talking to him for up to 17 years to never even having met him... but crying during the service. Fucking fakes.

but crying during the service.

Wow, who's more of a freak show? Michael Jackson or some "fan" who would take the day off of work to show up to his funeral and start weeping over this pervert.

Frightening.....

I'm more talking about people like Brooke Shields crying when she hasn't spoken to him in years, or Corey Feldman showing up in an MJ get up when they have been estranged after a falling out like, 17 years ago lol. I dont' think Jennifer Hudson even met him and Usher has done things that MJ was a part of as well but never actually had a conversation with him.

Vultures feeding off the fame of another person.

And yes, Corey Feldman... seriously? Dude, seriously? Go back to your fail reality TV show.

Because his last album sucked. You can be a fan and not want to buy shit music. Yea I said it, I guess I lose my die hard fan card.

Exactly, point and case Metallica.

I HATE St.Anger, absolute fucking waste of time album that was IMO. BUT.. ask me how huge a die hard fan I am of Metallica.

Shit I don't think I've posted a million or even many Metallica songs in the Music thread, and I know I never started a discussion about them. They've come up in Music with short conversation but that's all really.

Osi and I have discussed MJ.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know. Fuck me because I don't respect someone in death. Nevermind that I didn't respect him when he was alive. Never mind that I have given perfectly valid reasons for not liking them. Never mind that you are offending someone who is alive by speaking good about him. Never mind that I am not offending him (or anyone that actually knew him) by speaking bad about him.

You people need to remove your tongues from his asshole. He wasn't even that great of a musician.

Not once did I ever profess my love for MJ. I just stated he has plenty of fans.

Trippy I didn't bag on you because you're bashing MJ in this thread, not now, not after it's been split.

You pretty much said I had no right to post in here. After it had been split I kept my thoughts to myself.

It's only that reading about QCDN 'fans' being categorized and bashed, named faux-fans and such in general includes me and includes lies/untruths, so naturally I'm going to say something. THAT'S where my rights come into play, the right to defend myself or tell someone to shut the fuck up if I feel I've been bashed. Otherwise you guys enjoy your MJ bashing, I don't give a shit about it, honestly.

I did comment on a couple statements made in Pomps post, but that's because I was addressing the one statement that really caught my attention.

BTW, I said 'eat it', not 'fuck you'

I retract anything positive I may have said.

Pomp, please don't lump QCDN or any MJ fans together as faux-fans. It's an insult.

Thank you and goodnight.

If they have the right to keep the "negative" posts out of the other thread why can't we keep the "positive" posts out of this thread?

I prefer to think of this thread as more of a no-holds-barred place where the grown-ups can discuss the positive and negative aspects of Jackson's life and career without having to worry about stepping on the sensitive footsies of fans who can't bear to see their idol besmirched now that he's wormfood.

It would be a boring conversation if it was all "He sucked" followed by "Yes, you're right." Let them have their scorn-free zone and the real fun can be had here.

I can understand being fans for a long time and not mentioning him in the music thread, but why just because of his death is he mentioned? It took him to die to make him worthwhile of a mentioning?

Were not arguing he didn't have a lot of fans, some fake and some real. Were arguing that hes been a nobody, ESPICALLY to the music industry, other then a few of Eminems songs ripping on him. I truthfully didn't even know he was trying to have a new come back concert, must of been on the first page somewhere... But ever since his death, his record sales have increased, now tell me thats not faux fans. If you truly enjoyed the mans music, you would of had his albums, maybe even cassests, a long time ago.

Let's get over the bickering of us calling him a pedo, in this thread hes king of pedo in the other hes the king of pop. Its our opioin to believe the claims are real and yours to believe their not.

Think about his title thoug, ' King of "POP"'. he is the king of pop music, you know the music you make fun of. The one that spawned many a gay boy bands. He is the king of this. Is he truly worth mentioning of a true musician?

Well there was a Billy Mays thread.. and his accomplishments were... umm.. not worth mentioning in my opinion. That didn't stop a lot of QCDN members in participating in the thread. So what's the difference?

Sometimes it does take someones' dying before they are truly recognised for all the things they contributed whether good or bad.

It's an unfortunate truth. Because he died many people are going to state their genuine respect for his music contributions, whether or not they're fans, that's just being either a fan of music, a fan of his celebrity or an educated musician who can recognise and respect talent regardless of the genre.

an educated musician who can recognise and respect talent regardless of the genre.

What talent? When I say Michael Jackson, what's the first thing that pops in your head? The Moonwalk or the Thriller Video. Neither which are MUSIC. They are dance routines. That's all he was really famous for. He dance moves. He may have 4-5 songs that are widly known, which to some of todays musicians is a hard granted, but during that time a famous artist had a lot of songs that you hear on the radio constantly.

Thinking of it... can't say I've even heard his music on the radio, prior to his death, on it in a good few years and I listen to oldie stations and listen to a lot of 80's music. So what's that to say about him?

That can be said about a lot of singers though. No offence because I love Madonna and all, but she doesn't have a fantastic voice. Her concerts are fun to watch though. They are good entertainers, there's nothing wrong with that.

Call MJ a good entertainer then, not a good musician.

He was a singer/entertainer, there are a lot of them out there. This is just getting into semantics now.

I'm so sick of hearing him refered to as a musician I could scream. I have personally never seen him play a single insturment.

Technically speaking, one's voice can be and is considered an instrument.

First of all, your voice is an instrument when singing. Mire, I'm surprised you didn't say that, you kinda made by pointing out you don't like Madonnas though.

Secondly, do you think Michael had nothing to do with the production of his songs? Although working a state of the art mixer is not exactly an instrument, it's instrumenting the music.

And Lastly, there are far more than 4 or 5 songs that are widely known, musicians would know better than yourself apparently because they are in the industry and pull from other artists for influence.

Just because you are not a fan doesn't mean someone who loves music wouldn't know. My bf is not exactly a fan of MJ but I guarantee he could list off at least 10.

E- sorry Blue I posted before I read this

Technically speaking, one's voice can be and is considered an instrument.
