Hey everyone, I was just wondering what is a good, free screenshot program? I know that there are tons of them that cost money, but does anyone have any free ones that they really really like? Preferablly one with no resolution restrictions and video options would be nice. Thanks for your imput!

It looks smudged. I don't like fraps with game pictures. Only video.

Scroll lock, prt scr

How easy is that? I use fraps for recording gameplay only. It sucks period with images. I don't care what you say.

Fraps takes decent screenshots for me. Mainly makes large images the the quality is good enough. Depends on the pickyness of the person. Plus its great when you wanna SS a convo for its not possible with the print screen button do to having to use scroll lock. Other than that I just use it for vids mostly.

You can't take multiple shots (and have them saved as dif file names) just using the prt screen key without using another program with it(unless you like the ingame screenshots, which aren't full screen). The ratio is off because my settings are set to 1600x1200 res. at 15:9 ratio.

heres an example anyway of both:
left = prt scrn key right = fraps

and ff11 + prt scrn key:
