see you around jam, i don't think leaving the forum for that reason is really a good enough one imho, regardless of whether penalties given or not; people will act they way they want to and really it depends on the majority, there's no best way to implement a counter-action to it or moreso have one person define the line for all.
 
I am just curious how someone who uses derogatory comments to “creatively” tell how they see FFXI and QCDN can complain when someone else uses a derogatory comment. I personally do not like when people use derogatory comments (reason I only read the first few pages of the Rap parody and didn’t continue) and would like to see it stop but you also do not see me uses terms like “Those Bitches” either. Also, I just disregard posts I don’t want to read.

I agree that that word should not be used but you are one of the last people that should complain about it since you are just as bad.

I don’t know you, I admire your achievements in FFXI, but I dislike your condescending words/few/posts of most everyone else but I wish you the best of luck to which ever FFXI website you go to.

For the future: do not let dumb people get you down. If certain words are considered offensive, they will get caught one day in the wrong environment to use such terms. The internet/forum community is free game to all sorts of weird crap and social faux pas. Some of it is easier to ignore than others.
 
I wish I had said "nigga" on qcdn so that a month after all the nonsensical bitching is done I can absolve myself in two words.

I'm so pure white, and literally have never interacted with an African-American (I grew up in a small northern town)
But why exactly -is- the N-Word so offensive? All I see it as, is that it means "black person." Are white people supposed to get offended when we're called Crackers (or whatever we're called)?

(and one thing, more unrelated, how it's okay for a black to call a black the n-word, but heaven forbid a white person say it [this is not so, I'm sure, in all cases, just something I find curious) Racism is really an...odd thing. I don't understand it, but I've never been exposed to it :|
