Got roped into helping out with Soboro run last night when I logged in, and turned out to be a pretty awesome night.
I went out to help Renz, who was having trouble bagging the elusive blade and who was part of a party consisting of Damane, falk(tab), nicholas, raryn, wilfinger and astyanax. I dont need the blade but dont mind helping so there we were. Damane dc'd early and we picked up Svichi from my shell who logged in to 'omg why are you in riverne!' apparently this toy is popular.
Renz got repped by Halley after getting his sword and a few kills besides due to RL aggro, and halley got repped by lucipides(sp) and a bunch of helpful people wandered by over the course of the night.. stouter/ll, hanzokoro, and a few others whos names I unfortunately forgot. All in all, 7 blades dropped over the about 7 hour span, the last finally to Astyanax (at about 3:30 am) who was rocking an impressive 1/17 record of not getting the damn thing.
Congrats to everyone! and thanks for a pretty wicked time. You all are pretty wonderful people to spend time with, despite how irritating the NM was being.
