The way I see it, if someone wants to make a Good Times thread about w/e they want to make it about in the game then just let it be if you're not interested. It's what a lot of people who frequent qcdn wish several people on this site would do rather than interject their asshole comments about it every single time. If every other thread is by the same person or group of people then it's spam, and yeah that's something different. But if Audino is tickled about panties and Willian wants to enjoy getting 75 back, great. Just as easy to ignore it if you're not interested than to be locking threads or making an issue out of it where there doesn't need to be one.

And let's just assume for a moment they are trying to make some point or mock the Good Times forum. Who cares? There will always be those who will piss on your parade. Probably more than will congratulate you or at least show indifference. As long as they're not going into other people's threads and injecting smart-ass comments, what difference does it really make?

If the thread is genuine, and who knows at this point, then congrats Aud and Will. If not, then point made, can we move on now?

I'm agreeing with a lot of what has been said here, but I think we should discuss it somewhere else before we get another unnecessary move to the Flameboard from moderation just because certain people are involved in this thread.

Vilurum posted an excellent analysis on the moderator board regarding posts of late to this board. I am not sure what Rappa's goal was in posting this topic. I admit, the rhyme was fun to read.

I, echoing Vilurum's thoughts as well, have a problem with people shitting in threads that think certain accomplishments aren't worth good times. Very very few things in FFXI have not been done. If those are the only topics worth mentioning in GT, then we might as well just get rid of this board. (Hint, its not gonna happen. I can don the ban hammer hat again and just go to town if ya like.)

Let people post their accomplishment. If it isn't a worthy accomplishment to you, shut the fuck up; walk away; and don't visit the board. You can take your side quips, sarcastic jabs, and other bullshit to the flameboard.
