To be entirely fair mayhaps it's not a need requirement to the rest of the community but simply nice to enjoy a pat on the back.

While i agree that your threads (the valid one or two at least) shouldn't have been expunged i think it's pretty ridiculous to witch hunt the shiny, happy, co-dependant good times people. <.<

If you already know it's a pathetic excuse for a section of the boards, why bother with it outside your own threads?

I have much more respect for someone telling me something ingame. I give props to alot of things, it just doesn't deserve an entire thread every time your linkshell does something that is the goal of the linkshell to accomplish.

This thread was started in response to Celventes throwing stones at linkshells for purchasing ulli stones. In those threads, I was called a Kaizen "tool" for defending their actions...and thats when I noticed a pattern emerging. Celventes and loldynamis were making good times threads for small steps, like I said, loldynamis had 3 threads open for the same goddamn run. 3.

I don't look at every good times thread, I ignore most of them. But when they're being thrown out constantly (remember this shell meets twice a week) then it gets old fast.

DL has only been beaten by three NA shells and yes we have had crappy luck since we beat him the first time. If you dont like the topic then don't open it basically you want teh entire board to think just like you.

I don't spam flames like loldynamis spams good times threads. I made a flame at a person, and now widened it to a shell (which he happens to be in, I'm not shocked).

Aerdrie, you haven't even sent me a /tell in the last 6 months, seriously. I considered you a friend as well, but seriously, say hi once in awhile.

I don't tell people ingame not to be proud of their actions, I'm proud of everyone for even the most minute of tasks that may have taken some time to get done. There's a time and a place for congratulations to occur, and I think its highly conceited to throw out every tiny victory in a good times thread. Its a goal of your shell to defeat DL. Its the goal of your shell to obtain AF. Why is it considered good times to accomplish goals? I'm not gonna throw a party every time I meet a deadline for a project at work expecting people to come and say congratulations. Trust me, after the 2nd party, people will think you're conceited.

I vent frustrations here, I've helped a ton of people. The thing I tell them when I help them is, to be humble, and to help someone else out sometime, and tell them the exact same thing. The whole reason I made this thread was because some jackoff who you happened to give a drop last night was flaming close friends of mine. I'll question the actions of any shell who holds him in esteem like you guys do, he did a weak ass job of attacking kaizen, horribly weak. And why? He was probably frustrated he couldn't create another good times thread to show off anymore.

Ajs, 8 months is nothing. My point is you're showing the weaknesses of your shell by having to post a good times thread every time something good happens. If you have enough success, you realize you don't need other's people's "Good job's" to tell you you did a good job.

I don't need anybody to tell me "good job", nor do I expect them to. I didn't post because I thought it was an amazing accomplishment nobody had seen before, I posted because my shell had been unlucky for 8 months and never seen the goddamn pants.

Just because we have a post in Good Times doesn't mean we think it's an amazing accomplishment. When people post there, it's because they're HAPPY. I'm an impulsive person, and when I get happy as shit over seeing my pants drop for the first time in my Dynamis career, I turn around and make a thread.

You didn't ask about adaman head. You posted it to melee. And you forgot to respond about Jormy. I'm away from the game for a few days, maybe I'll track down your threads for you.

3 wings or 4 wings, its still ridiculous, and shows you had no experience with wyrms. My stoneskin on PLD/WHM would survive to if I was just watching someone else kill it out of AoE range.

Here's a response to your next question.

Haste+5% hardly beats the STR+5 that the wyrm helm has for melee (it also has HP+30). Nor does it beat the Kaiser or Koenig helm for PLD tanks or the Yasah headpiece for NIN (that even seems better with Enmity+ and spell interruption rate down and INT+ for their ninjutsu) tanks. For mages.. Zenith seems far better for a few jobs or their AF2. This piece of headgear seems like it's not worth the trouble.

Are you high? Haste +5% is basically a static 5% bonus on damage. STR+5 is not NEAR that big of a deal.

5% Haste doesn't > 5 STR? Wtf are you smoking? Maybe for WS, but ya know, there's these things called macros you can use to swap your gear to increase WS damage, then use to put on gear that increases your DoT. Not sure if you're heard of em.

Let them post about good times, who are you to tell them that that person isn't qualified enough for a congratulations? If a thread gets missed, it's because people didn't respond to it, or people didn't read it at all. And 9 times out of 10, people respond to any thread on any board.

Explain my actions? You got bitchy in a good times thread. I removed your bitchiness. I was also the one who removed Peregrine's bitchiness in the same thread. No more bitchiness, problem solved. Seriously, cry more about it. Don't like the threads in good times? Don't read 'em.
