I suppose that this is a little overdue since I haven't logged in in more than 30 days now, though I feel I owe it to people to at least say goodbye.
The time has come for me to leave the wonderful world of FF behind me for good. Unlike the many people who complain about the time which was "robbed" from them during their FF experience, I actually feel as though I took more from the game than it took from me. The relationships that were built and people I've met have already transcended the game proving that what really matters to me will move beyond the walls of Vanadiel. However, to those that I won't be able to stay in contact, please accept my blanket (though sincere) thank you!
To my mates in Encore -- If there was one group of people who I feel as though I wronged...it was definately you. Due to my other in game obligations, Encore was always second on my priority list. The was unfortunate because of the quality people found in this shell. I do regret not giving any indication of my departure until now but I'm sure that things have rolled on perfectly fine without me in attendance. Thank you to all of you for letting me tag along for those few runs I was able to attend. Specifically to Audino, I'm glad I was there to help with your Attestation mob. That run put a defining stamp on Dynamis as a fun event.
Achates and Allura -- Even though the last few days in Fury were rocky ones between us, I'm glad we were able to handle the transition as adults. Regardless of the political lines that were inevitably drawn, I know that you were both people who cared about helping those that you consider your friends. Please know that I leave the game with nothing but good thoughts, feelings and intentions for the both of you. Best of luck in the game and in life.
Gimli and Kahuna -- If there were two people who carried me through the first few months of the game, it was definately the two of you. The original RidersofRohan pearl was lost but the spirit of that shell lives on. If memory serves, I still own the handle of a Neckchopper and the string of a Euryto's Bow. Make sure they're put to good use!
Siresativa -- For some reason we were never able to stay in the same linkshell for very often but I'm glad we were able to remain friends regardless. You were always the person one step ahead of me in the game and it looks like I'll never catch you now. Thanks for taking me along on some wild parties. I only wish I'd have taken you up on that offer to trio Hydra.
Labrynth -- I've known you for as long as I've played this game. You and I have been through all of the same battle and all of the same successes and frustrations. One thing that I'll always remember is you putting me on follow through Mera.Mountains because I was good at dodging aggro on the way to getting our chocobo grass. We came a long way my friend. Take care of yourself. I'll think of you every time I watch the Colts play.
Orestes -- If there was one thing that I found more fun and motiviational than actually playing the game itself, it was helping lead Fury with you. If it had been anyone else running the show, I wouldn't have put in half the effort that I did. How you always managed to make the right decision in tough situations always baffled me. Thanks for putting trust in me to help run Fury. Best of luck to you IRL Ores. You will be missed my friend.
Taralesca, Zyn and Cerato -- If it weren't for you ladies keeping me sane, I don't know how I would've coped with the stress sometimes. Thank you so much for being there for me when I needed to vent or just needed a friend to talk to. You all know how to get ahold of me outside of the game and I hope we can keep in touch. Quality people are tough to find in life. You need to hold onto them when you find them.
To my Fury mates -- I can't thank you enough for all you've done for me. If there was more room I'd list you each individually but, alas, time prevents this. We grew from a 2 day a week sky shell into running every event this game had to offer. That's a pretty good accomplishment in and of itself. None of it is possible without you. My contact info is posted in the forums if any of you ever need anything.
