Well, after 3 or 4 years (forget how long) of playing FFXI, 537 play time (99% of which is actual play time, not bazzaring). I have lost interest in playing. Main reason is full time job, and other reason is Team fortress 2.
Without being able to stay up late, I could not do events that I enjoyed without getting sleep I needed, dynamis (yes, I loved dynamis), salvage, HNMs.
I'd like to thank Kaizen for helping me with the attest of glory and shard for finishing Excalibur, and Loveless for somewhat helping me upgrade. As far as coins, I had vary little help, 28 months of mining/crafting got me enoph to finish. I enjoyed my last year in kaizen, would have quit sooner, but wanted to help shell out for helping me finish excalibur.
I would list people who I enjoyed to know, but that would include half the surver, many that have quit already. But a special thanks goes out to Agris, Hyre, and Amiboshi and more then I'v forgotten who were part of the first end game shell we started. (and Villarel).
I'm playing Team fortress 2, and other random games on steam till Age of Conan comes out, then maybe Aion later this year if it looks better then AoC. Mario-x steam name if anyone elce uses Steam and want to add me.
For ever who ever asked me, "Is it mariox or mari-ox" its mario-x, and I'm a guy. Don't ask me if I will ever come back, I will not, SE will never improve rdm so will never get any funner. I read thay adding some melee stuff to rdm, too bad RDM DO NOT MELEE. (without superb equip, which very few rdms have.)
I'l be selling account, while I'd rather just keep and not let everyone have. I might as well get something out of my work and help me pay for a house. How many people would rather have account thay will not play again over $2500-3000?
And maybe some of you will run into me in AoC or Aion, or Team fortress 2.
Oh, and glad to hear SE finnaly doing something to help recover stolen accounts, that was the third reason for quitting, all joy in playing goes when LS mates get hacked. I'l still check out this board once and a while.
