Well, for the last 4 years, 11 months, 17 days, 23 hours, 17 minutes, 40...41... 42 seconds, I've come to know a lot of great people via Final Fantasy XI. For all the time I have spent on this game, I've had many laughs, happy moments, fun moments, and then of course those moments where you stand up, scream at the computer, scream obscenities, sit back down, turn your computer off, and bash your head into the desk until either blood sprays profusely out of your skull, or you are knocked out by blunt trauma force.
Botosai, my bud in the dreaded Real World, is the one who introduced me into this game way back just after the NA release, and I'm glad for it. On the first day of playing I joined an amazing linkshell named Chaosknights (I also joined DynastyWarriors). Here I met my first few FF friends. As time rolled on, Chaosknights evolved into CKII, then into Marauders of Dawn, and finally most of the people merged into Machina where I finally found a permanent home.
Veldo, Kaik, Armi, Ame, Vor, Vaffy, Chewy, Draya, Amaz, BJ, Boto, Jinxy, Jinkles, and everyone else from Machina, all I can say is thanks. It does you all no justice at all, but it's all I have to offer. You all took me in and befriended me and put up with me no matter what. We had so many fun times together and they will never be forgotten.
Though this was brief, I have a few shout-outs to give:
Veldo: I'll keep in touch man via the Machina forums.
Tristam: Thank you for the opportunity you afforded me despite my several absences due to real life crap. You are a great LS leader and I know you will take SanctusVires very far.
Avilas: I'll have more time to annoy you now via QCDN.
To everyone else (I don't know who uses QCDN and who doesn't, so what the Hell): For everyone on my FL, you guys have helped me so much throughout my FF career. For everyone not on my FL, but who I have talked to a lot in the past, well, keep it real guys, 'cause ya'll are great.
And with that, well, I'll be semi-active on QCDN for a bit now, but I'm moving to WAR with my best bud irl for a while. I want to thank everyone who helped me in-game because your efforts never went without my gratitude... though I wish I could've surpassed Promyvions at some point.
