My time in Vanadiel has come to an end. Best wishes to all and a very fond farewell. A few special "thank yous" and "goodbyes" are in order and I will almost certainly leave a few names out and misspell names because I am forgetful and don't always write things down... =(

/salute Healzalot & Stilltzkin, the first group I ever partied with in S. Gustaberg...to this day the most fun I ever had playing this game. The very first members of my friends list.
/salute Nekoi, Isato, Empyrean, Tofuman, Seraa, Damita, and every other member of DarkfireKnights...my first linkshell. You know what they say, you never forget your first...
/salute Smandero, Riketz, and every other member of Dunedain. Although I wasn't in the shell for very long, I enjoyed my time there and I was always willing to help when I could even after I was gone.
/salute Watchyourstep, Moch, Kasuke, Dowzer, Calbrone, Shinryuken, Pheona, and every other member of BoL at the time. I know I was too low level to actually contribute much to the shell, but if it weren't for you guys, I would never have completed any of my AF. You guys introduced me to the world of HNMs, helped me get to sky, and showed me what I had to look forward to during end-game. I'll never forget tanking Simmy as a 56 PLD because our NIN fell asleep! I know not everyone in the server respects the shell or some of the members, but I am still grateful for all that you guys & gals did for me.
/salute Karihkinz, Iggman, Alyada, Aither, Faule, Langly, Aidyn, Akichu, Rubiemoon, Realia, Ruck and every other member of LiberiFatali, the best linkshell name ever! I'll never forget all the crazy adventures and all the silly conversations that took place on Vent.
I'd like to thank the random BLM & DRG who responded to my n00bish /shouts in Lower Jeuno one night for help with killing Dark Spark, as well as the 68 Japanese BLM who died and ate an R1 in Ordelle's Caves help me with PLD AF sword. And a heartfelt thank you to any and everyone who ever helped me do anything in-game, regardless of how menial a task it was.

Vasage - my bestest PLD buddy! =P Remember when we were in SuperStarHNM for all of 30 seconds before they realized what we were doing and kicked us? LOL Always was good times messing with the sellers. You're a far better PLD than I ever was /bow
Pheona - The cutest Taru WHM on the server (no offense Empy, who is actually a SMN now...) We never camped Serket together, but I always had fun on our HNM adventures.
Faule - silly THF girl..../em feeds Faule a slice of crab meat. The coolest Canadian I know!
Langly - one word: RANGRY!!! Wish I could've made it to the OU-NU game last fall...would've been good times!
Aither - two words: AIFER SMASH! Co-owner of Gusgen Mines =P
Alyada - /em humps Alyada....Ya you know you liked it!

Kasuke - we never really got to do much because of our level-gap when I was in BoL, but I never forgot how you almost single-handedly organized and ran myself and other members from ZM4 - sky in almost one day.
Stouter - you probably don't remember me, but I'm sure you remember the wild time we had back in our n00b days trying to get to the Drachenfall Water for the Bastok quest. Good ol' Dangruf Wadi...
I know that there are many people that I am leaving off this list, and I apologize. There are many players whose paths I crossed and the vast majority of those experiences were pleasant ones. I apologize to those whom I may have offended and those whose gameplay experience I may have negatively affected. I hope that for the most part, everyone had positive experiences with me during my days in FFXI.
I would also like to take this time to especially apologize to Misheala. I was going to do this via /tells in-game, but since I was antagonistic and spiteful to you on this very forum, I felt that a similar public apology was in order. I'm sorry for being hateful in your Real Life thread and the LF forum. I sincerely hope that things are going better for you and your family.
I'm sorry for the length of this post, but goodbyes always linger...I hope every has fun with the upcoming expansion. Someday I would like to return to this forum and read of the tale of all the NA end-game linkshells putting aside their differences and feuds and working together, as the largest English-speaking alliance ever assembled on our server and downing Absolute Virtue. Not for title, not for drops, not for gil...Simply for the thrill. I know it's very idealistic, but to quote King Arthur from Excalibur, "It is a dream I have..." Take care Quetzy. /goodbye
