Like the title says, something weird has happened to my game. The chocobo stables for Lower Jueno is missing. The door's still there, and so are the NPC's, but the actual room is missing. Here's some screen shots:

It's been this way for about a week now, no clue when it started. If I hadn't been leveling another job I probably never would have noticed.

So, any ideas?

does ffxi crash often for you? i had problems like this before. i ended up reinstalling and it went away.

Nope, FFXI's been pretty stable for the most part. It crashes occasionally, but not very often.

aye, from the sounds of it something is possibly corrupted.

id imagine it would be too hard to do it manually so id do as ran said. if that doesnt work reinstalling might be the only option :(

I hear that happens when you use the nude doggy style NPC dats.

Yea, I hate doing it to, but it must be done, I usually Install FFXI in 2 different places, after a rename ofc, one for .dat mods and one for non. =]

Hahah Chocobo stable owner didn't pay the rent, so the landlord took it away from them XD!

oh and that npc... it could be a ghost :3 lol

On-topc: ya, could be one of your .dat for that area is corrupted or could be graphic card issue.

p.s. is it me or there is 3 Sun on bajar's SS? XD

Don't you know the Chocobo Circuit actually exists on Tatooine? It's really the former Mos Espa Podrace Circuit.

Looks like a DAT corruption. You could request the Lower Jeuno DAT over on ffxidats.com and replace it accordingly to see if that fixes the problem.

That happened to me once, although not with an area .dat. For some reason, my FFXI deleted the Ochu, the Sandworm, Gnat, and a few other past-area mobs for no reason, so I had to get them from someone else.

I ran right into a Raffelsia and got aggro, and I couldn't target it without /ta <bt>, since my Carbuncle auto-attacked it.

No need to request it or reinstall FFXI. Just do a filecheck through POL. That way it will re-download all corrupted files from the server.

That would probably replace the non-corrupt files as well, you know like .DAT mods? Some people would like to not have to replace their mods again. >> I know when I installed WotG, it killed a lot of my equipment mods during the file check.

Well, that's an acceptable risk when using dat edits. I've had mine overwritten before and I replaced them all post-update with little issue.

Eh... xD It can grow a bit tiresome to do so when you have so many. I probably use more than I should, but they're so pretty!

super mario graphics are taking over your game

You have entered the..

If it only that one file couldn't he just find out what the files are for upper jueno is and replace only them?
