Got it last week Friday both versions! Vader is awsome! Yoda is cool..
Nothing different on both 360 and PS3 i guess just the loading are different.. But yes its a must get Both version if u can!

So Vader and Yoda are the only console-specific characters?

Also, I'm assuming that you work in a store or something and snuck a copy out, since the game is released next week.

kinda lol.. Theres a store here that sells games early like 1-2 weeks early got MSG Ninja gaiden Soul Calibur all a week early...
the store is cool, they sell like anime, imports toys, figurines etc..

As soon as i get my hands on this game, I'm gonna train really hard so I can be the Soul Calibur king !

I got my copy today. Are we able to play while logged into Live? I know they banned people for playing GTA4 before release date, some other game also i foget what tho.

I dont believe there is a need to buy both versions. Buy whatever version you want more... Seems Vader and Yoda will be downloadable content. Just assuming but they left a spot in the char. select menu which seems just right for downloadable content, and yes i have all characters and the spot is still there.

The game is sweet even with some very cool things taken out like the Quest mode...;;;;;;;;;;

Yeah, I don't see a reason to buy both versions; even if they don't let you download the other character later on, it's not a big enough reason to spend another $60.

Where'd you get yours osy? I called like every place around my house and not one fucking store broke street date on it, it makes me sad. So I've been playing SC2 to make me a feel a lil better, but i want some Hilde action.

If SC IV would merge the 360 with the PS3 versions online that would be sweet. I'd get to mash Osyris.

And I'd get to mash you!

I wished they'd do this to all games on both consoles.

Yes, that would be great.

And I got my copy too for PS3. Not bad, I must say. Vader is pretty beastly. Going to have to rent the 360 version to try out Yoda.

I'm still more of a Tekken guy though lol

lol Oh. Going back to work for GameStop has had its perks lol

Rochester, NY. There was a store name Game Craze... Which i was thinking is the store Makelith works at, found out that store is Game Crazy tho...

I will be playing connected to live today after work. I just dont want to get banned for having a game early.

Anttaru!!! Your soul is mine!! Seriously tho the only game i have won more money then SC2 in... Is Halo 2... It is more of a challenge then SC2 tho, there are multiple strategies that work per round now.

Not so sure I'm picking this up, but I wouldn't get the 360 version unless I had an arcade stick to be honest. Load times, install times and graphic comparisons aside, the 360 controller isn't really built with the D pad as a high priority.

Not even commenting on the quality, the biggest issue is the 360's D-pad location. D pads require stretching your thumb further cause they're not raises off the pad as high as sticks are, when you put them further away from your hand, it makes them uncomfortable. The 360 made the stick the high priority - making that extremely comfortable by putting that on the left assuming most games would use that to move, which is true... but it makes fighters unplayable to me on the 360.

Just my thoughts. If you're considering which version to buy, put your left thumb on your 360's control pad, try pushing that for a few minutes and ask yourself if that's comfortable.

For all I know the 360 version just goes ahead and uses the left stick to move instead... which makes quick, short sidescrolling movements more sluggish.

Of course you can always just get a Hori stick, which is something people online say a lot - I just don't actually know anyone who likes fighters enough to buy arcade sticks for them.
