Now that I think about it, even if you're using the stick for the 3D movement, is there no combination of side scrolling fighting as well? Or are you always just constantly running in 3 dimensions?

Not sure if i got what you are asking but i will try to answer. Your character is always locked on to the opponent, unless you are turned away. Yes the game takes the normal side to side motion like Tekken, Fire. You are able to just side step if you like to avoid verticle attacks. The 8 way run just takes side stepping to the next level is all.

The apprentice is allready unlocked when you beat arcade with Yoda or Vader. Well its the first person i cleared arcade with and he unlocked... So maybe it is just clear arcade once? lol...

Wouldn't it be garbage if vader/yoda were DLC that you had to pay for, but you could only somehow unlock the option to access the DLC after beating TFU and having the save file. Lol that'd be some shit.

Yeah, at first I thought Vader was pretty good, but as I started playing with more characters, Vader just seems too weak. I am still liking Rock the best so far, but I have a bunch more people to play as.

maybe they made them weaker then expected on purpose. you put 2 iconic characters like that in a game and what you expect? they probably though they would get to much attention and people ignore the other characters they made. it may seem far fetched but if i worked on this game and people only played vader or yoda they way people used Law when teken first came out (and later eddie) i would feel like i wasted my time making the other new guys & gals.

WTF with this tower thing man... Some of these missions are very tough... The current one is killing me. I am allowed to select one character. I must defeat 11 people in a row... The hard part is they can not be knocked out the ring, they can not be thrown and they each have the freaking auto deflect crap on... My god...
