Well while on a trip to Seattle to see a concert, on Dec 9th my account was hacked and PW CC info was all changed and i was put in a huge ass mess with SE. In Dec they told me it was my fault i should of protected my PC better, at this point i was done with FFXI and any SE products.
During this time in Dec my good friend Evanos let me borrow his mule Sarten cause i just wanted to talk in LS and keep in touch with my LS family. I was very pissed at this time but my LS was encouraging and kept making me want to get Matchuu back.
In Jan SE finally acknowledged there was a problem, this set a lot of ppl up for a huge let down when they assumed they were gonna get there account back in a timely fashion, we were wrong. So I pretty much took a break during Jan cause i didn't see much hope after getting no where with SE customer service.
In feb they released the notary form email and 2 ppl in my LS got there email but i never got mine. Lucky for me Khali just emailed me the adobe file. After I filled out my form and got it notarized i started playing more full time again on sarten, cause i felt like i actually would get it back. Pretty much just started meriting on Sarten and am 120k xp short of capping blm.
So after 3 months of not sure if i could play my taru of 4 years again, I got a email from SE last week on Thursday but didn't check it till Friday night cause I'm stupid, so i had to wait till Monday morning to call SE was a long weekend lol. I get him back after talking to this rep i never spoke to before and i thought i talked to all of them. He seemed new cause he kept on saying he had to check something. I didn't even have my original book with registration codes.
Well after i logged on to my surprise I had a lot more stuff than expected. Seems the RMT just took the expensive things i assumed they were gonna NPC everything, SE told me yes they are not replacing anything that was sold to AH ect. So i was left with not much to say lol. But lucky for me I am in the best ls with the best friends i could ask for, just mins after i logged on matchuu I get tells from countless friends how they want to help me get my gear back.
With this lesson i have learned a came to a conclusion that all these items all mean nothing really unless you have the online friends to back them up. thats why you see all these ppl that get all there gear/relics ect and they just quit the game cause they missed the whole damn point. I was one of these ppl a few months ago and this has made me wake up and learn to see what I had the whole time.
I would like to thank everyone that has been a kind support to me while i have been going through this ordeal. especially my LS Perseverance you guys are my friends comrades and family. To be more exact on names friends like Cabich Evanos Weiing Bjornar Willya Brianfist Khali Alalai Aurorastar Meikolia Darkmaul and Momooo. Without these ppl and my LS i would of been gone back in Dec. Love you all.
