When using a reference to a period of time would you say six month or six months?

A) Then Ehrlich shifts to the topic of a six months long winter

or

B) Then Ehrlich shifts to the topic of a six month long winter

I know it's silly coming here, but I can't figure out which one works best. When saying a loud the sentence with six month sounds more flowing, but as well all know speaking never is the same as writing.

Would you say seven course meal or seven courses meal?

I agree with you, it doesn't seem correct, but the alternative just sounds silly.

Yeah I know that's what I was thinking it doesn't seem correct and the alternative is silly in talking and writing, but the vast difference in how I speak and how I talk had me questioning what to do.

BEER BATTERED CHICKEN STRIPS.

That's what I would say.

It would be "six month" since in this case "month" is used as an adjective to describe "winter."

There's probly a word for using a noun as an adjective, but looking for it would require more effort than I'm willing to dedicate to this project.

Meh I figure I would get a C on the paper either way because it's only the second paper I have had to write for this class. Thanks for the in depth answer though now I know when using month as an adjective to use month all the time.

To Aly: Yeah if I wouldn't have been over the 500 word "limit" I would have you beer battered chicken strips are mighty tasty to get the last few words. Maybe even a screw flanders just for emphasis. I wanted to just fill the paper with Wyoming sucks so many times because that is what the essay was on was life in Wyoming.

The answer is A.

The answer is A.

Eh if it is A oh well. The essay went in a circle and was highly unorganized so I bull shitted a lot of what I said and just paraphrased the essay.

It's example A.

In the context you are using it's example A that is correct.

I already emailed it to him so eh. I already got an extension because I didn't have the stuff for the paper because of RL issues in the family. It was at least a C paper by the english departments standards so I'm happy.

Ah cool, well that's good!
