Anyone else pick this up? I think it's a really fun game. Plays and has all the content of any full retail game and for $40 it's a deal.

The physics and graphics are really amazing. The controls are tight as well.
 
it doesnt have full functionality. its missing the ability to tune the vehicles.
 
GT5P does not feel like a full game. It does not have close to the content of most racers out atm. Its a $40 demo. It looks great. I am so glad i did not buy this.
 
Yeah, it really feels like I paid to play a demo lol Good thing my friends at GameStop will let me return new games. I will just wait until the full one comes out sometime in the next 1-2 years lol
 
Yup, I picked it up. I told myself that I would wait for the "full" game but I am weak.
 
Feels like a full game to me, lots of cars, split screen and online. Just short on tracks. There are some racers with more content out there, but also a lot of $60 games without more content. This has all the basics I'd want in a racing game and really good controls. Admittedly, however the release of the full game will make this very obsolete, hopefully the save game will transfer over.
 
I know my friends and I will have a blast playing it so it is worth $40.

I was under the understanding that all money and cars in your garage will transfer over to the full version when it comes out. The Amuse S2000 GT1 is amazing :biggrin:

That's good to hear, and I can't see how they wouldn't do that. The backgrounds are amazing fluid...so real it's unreal?
 
Nah. I just got it. When they allow mods as we were allow to mod in the past 4 iterations, I'll be happy. Till then...Boo.
