Grandia III! w00t!

This game looks awesome! It has the same amazing battle system as Grandia II, but sweet graphics as well! It says it's coming out in Japan this summer... so hopefully it'll get a Christmas release date, probably more towards spring 2006 though. ><

The only thing is that I don't think there's any way that they could top the storyline of Grandia II. Honestly, best storyline I have ever seen in a game.

I never got to play Grandia 2. I owned it for DC, but there was a certain version of the Dreamcast that couldn't play Grandia 2. Did ubisoft fix it? Hell no. Thats why I hate them, even though I continue to buy Splinter Cell.

Maybe I'll pick up grandia 2 for PS2...

Hrm.. I've gotta stick with the original Grandia as far as being my favorite. I loved the whole game. Characters, story, and the way you leveled magic was a brilliant idea.

Never played Grandia II (i think) I Know I played either II or Extreme. Which ever one it was I hated the battle system and just didnt like what I saw.

I've heard Grandia was awesome... but honestly, I don't think anything could top the storyline of II. Just the implications alone are insane... However, I guess I'll have to pick Grandia up before I make a judgement.

I bet you would like Grandia II if you played, so it was probably Extreme taht you had.

Yeah Grandia 2 rocked balls man! I picked it up when it was old, and got hooked! I just had to have Xtreme when it came out... OMG holy battles every two steps batman! Can you have a plot?

Hopefully 3 will pick up a bit. And they need to work on their mob avatars...they are kinda lacking.

But yeah here is hoping!

Yea that was the only thing that bugged me about part 2. The repeated enemy sprites. Lol. The green one was stronger than the blue one, and the red one is the strongest yet! I hated those bull enemies that tossed the little ball guys around. Anyways. Part 3 is gonna rock! I know i'll be buying it as soon as it comes out. Im gonna go hook up my DC and play Grandia II now out of nostalgia...

I have so many games I want to play... most from nostalgia. FFVII(also in prep for AC), FFVIII, FFIX. And I plan on getting thru IV-VI and Tactics, which I havent played yet.

Loved G2. Don't really care for the look of the new hero, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Hope the story and battle system are at least up to par with the previous one.
