Over the weekend finally got the boot out of the house which some of you knew was most likely going to happen.
Only have internet access at work (last day at this job is friday) and at my college campus' library neither have ffxi so I won't be able to be online.

I'd like to see the shells continue on but attendance was dipping in dynamis majorly so unless everyone gathers together for the common goal that one will most likely break. Sea, on the other hand, was going great and I think if people are willing to keep it going it shall continue to prosper and accomplish getting torques/earrings/capes.

I can continue to update the point databases just need them sent to me.

Carless, homeless, and soon to be jobless wouldn't be a first time but hopefully it's only a temp deal. Have a bit of money saved up but most likely going to get a car to sleep in over a laptop to play ffxi occassionally.

In all honesty, I find times like these to be some of the best times of my life because there is no worries besides how will I live to see the next day. Fortunately, I have college courses to keep me busy for most of the day.

I have been playing this game since I was in the second semester of the 8th grade; now I'm going on 2nd year of college.. I've been raised on this game but I don't know if I really want to come back because I truthfully am addicted to it. FFXI and my now ex-girlfriend had killed my social life and I'm trying to get back out into reality maybe focus on schooling still not entirely sure where I'm going in life etc.

Omg /comfort, I had no idea you were having problems. I thought you were gone for the holidays or something. I havn't seen Friskie on but I'm sure we can try to keep up with sea. About 7 people showed up both days, but we didnt do anything because everyone was kinda busy irl and ingame. Hopefully things work out for you though.

Most of the time when there's a "Good Bye" post, it seems like it's because something dramatic IRL forced them to quit. And posts like this sometimes makes me stop and think a little.

Is this game really worth it? I mean, I'm sure most of us probably use it for the same reason, an escape from real life, a place you can relax, something to do when you bored. But.... is it really healthy in the long run to escape from real life this much? Those hardships we are trying to avoid by playing this game are usually what help us out.

I mean, I know I have as much a problem with this game as well. I've been playing it for 6 years...... when I look back. It's like..... 6 years.... wow. I've never played one game that long.

And unless something happens to pull me away from it. I probably won't leave either. But, it's just something that makes me think.

On topic: Bye Grand, we didn't hang out much in game, but I never really had any issues with you. GL getting back on your feet, man.

Damn. I heard about this topic while my laptop was in the shop so I'm all late to the party, but still. Sucks, man. You were probably the coolest dude I'd run into due to random event shouts, and even if we didn't do much together recently you'll be missed.

I quit in August of 06 and I still miss this stupid fucking game.

Not even having the option to play helps alot though. Like Sneaky said, if you get the chance to leave, don't get sucked back into it.

Really sucks to hear it actually did come to this, I am sure I can catch you on msn while your in class one of these days should I not be working so we can catch up on what has been missed in my absence ; ;.

I havn't seen Friskie on but I'm sure we can try to keep up with sea.

As for that ya, I have not been on the game personally since Sat. night and really quick Tuesday night. New job working long days and getting only 2-3 hours sleep a night due to all the other stuff irl. There should be no real issue in the coming weeks at all I'll be there on Sun/Wed again like usual, we will just have too work on getting our pop sets back up again but I don't plan on letting the shell die out

I just showed up last wed/sunday but not this past wednesday 'cause I've been very busy with college (finals, etc), so don't think I've left, I'm still up for sea, we gotta try to keep it up and not let our hard work go to waste. I hope everything gets resolved irl Grand and I also hope you come back to the game, I enjoy playing and chatting with you.^^
