It's not the same at all...

coming from one monster to get you exp, to something you work towards for probably months at a time...There will always be monsters to aid in your exp gain. Not sure if you have even done a dynamis xarcabard consistently but most of the cream of the crop items drop from this area...hmm COMPARISON TIME!!

let's just take a look at the item that you said yourself, was on the same level as a monster...

So it's ok to steal from someone because they can regain what was stolen from them faster?

I can't see the pics you posted since I'm at work, but I think he was more referring to NMs. Regardless, I don't think most people condone what he was talking about anyway lol.
 
Random question: As I am sure, most would agree ninja lotting is entirely unacceptable by any standards, but I am wondering how effective black balling someone by an entire community really is. I remember awhile ago someone else ninja lotted gear in dynamis and the same response was given. Now for my actual question, where is that person now? Did people actually hold true or forget in a month? I'd search for it myself, but ninja lotting will get me a ton of hits and I cannot for the life of me remember a name.
 
Since I can't edit:

Game mechanics-wise, there is nothing different from ninja-lotting versus stealing a claim. They're both technically "legal" only in the sense that the game does not prevent you from doing so. Morally, they're both wrong, but they are the same in terms of the game mechanics' rules.

I don't know who Ironmike is, and I don't care; I'm just responding to idiots who think it's ok to steal from others but not ok to have things stolen from them.

but if it were an NM, same thing in the end...I just interpreted it the wrong way ><

Hardly. Pull your head out of your ass.

What if it's a 69-72 hour pop NM? Comparable to the 72 hour wait period on Dynamis. Claims by competition are comparable to having to skip an area due to another shells scheduling. The only difference would be drop rates, depending on what you're shooting for NM-wise.
 
If people could do that, i would be less worried about getting punched, and more worried about catching some sort of disease.
